Jesus christ my claustrophobia IS PEAKED
what a shite position to wake up in.
How do you even fall asleep in a storm drain?
I don't have claustrophobia but this scares the shit out of me anyway.
How do you even fall asleep in a storm drain?
I think the point is that was knocked unconscious
man i regret watching every second of that. my fear of claustrophobia is so intense that i almost felt tears well up. shit's scary. although i'm kinda confused as to how he got there.
what is that it it just ends im covered in sweat now
Well it's started raining, so depending on how much rainwater gets into that pipe he'll either drown or die of hypothermia, either way he won't be stuck in there forever!
Good thing he has a walkie talkie, so when he gets thinner from starvation, he can grab it and call for help.
I don't really get it

a big healthy heaping of FUCK THAT
im covered in sweat now
It's good to see your body is self-lubricating to get you out of these kinds of situations.
I like the beep beep noise of the pager cellphone thing
How do you even fall asleep in a storm drain?
Working in a confined space is dangerous in any condition, may it be in a roof or down a man hole you could get knocked out for various reasons. There could be not enough air or if it's like a sewer or something with dangerous fumes you'd need a respirator with a hose connected to a full clean oxygen system strapped to your back, and they need a anchor, harness and a mechanism to get you out of the confined space if you're incapacitated and you need a spotter that is constantly watching you to make sure you don't get knocked unconscious even if you're underneath him in which case he'd have to set up a system of mirrors. They teach you these kind of safety precautions in a lot of trades these days, plumbing, electrical p much anything that could have you working in a confined space. It's because so many people die of work related injuries especially in tradespeople jobs but even though you're supposed to follow these precautions on the job people get lazy you know and mistakes like the hypothetical one that lead to the dude getting stuck in the hole in the video happen. Due to that the dude has no spotter or any kind of harness or necessary PPE on him I presume the short film makers were either uniformed or it's implied he fell down a hole. But like I mentioned earlier there's safety precautions for p much everything nowadays like for a hole for instance you'd have to put wire meshing over it and barricades with lights around it if it was in a public place, so basically what I'm saying is the scenario presented in this video is a bit fantastical? unless trade jobs in America are 100 times shittier than they are here.
