I still don't see this game being very good, neat trailer though.
Welp, that looks awesome.
But then again, all Cinematic trailers inherently do. I'm keeping a healthy skepticism.
But the possibility of tactical sieges looks promising, them drawbridges seem like a cool idea
I'd like to know why that imperial guy was killing zombie wolves when he clearly would have been a big help on the battlements, also why was the zombie wolf cave directly below the siege.
This trailer is supposed to give insight into the world and theme of the game rather than gameplay.

The guy killing zombie wolves is a Nord. Imperials aren't a playable race so that means the Imperials here are an NPC faction.

Yep, remember TOR's trailers? Those were awesome.

The actual game? A shitstain even by star wars standards.

If every game was like the cinematic trailer the world would be a better place
I can't be the only one who LIKED swtor? It had a rough start, and it didn't break any boundaries, but it was still fun to play. I'd still play it if it weren't subscription based, or if I had some more dosh.
Signed up for beta.
All of my hype.
That didnt really seem like elderscrolls, cool trailer though

This video has a little bit of gameplay and it looks okay.
This could either be okay or really bad
People are really quick to condemn a new MMO since TOR. I'm cautiously optimistic about this. Obviously MMOs are probably the easiest games to fuck up but I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays. Also didn't they say it's not just straight WoW/TOR etc. hotbar clone? They said it was more action based, like Raiders'.
neat trailer.
but they straight up retconned and raped half the lore of the entire series for this game. even more-so than Skyrim. i'm not looking forward to it.
Animation is too good, doesn't feel like a true Elder Scrolls.
actually this doesn't even feel like elder scrolls. the world doesn't look like elder scrolls, it's just... weird. wtf.
not even the actual game looks like elder scrolls. looks like it's set in a generic random fantasy scenario, not in THE ELDER SCROLLS UNIVERSE.
No Argonians, Dark Elves, or Khajiit... or even Altmer if I can see correctly. :C
The trailer looked nice but um, am I the only the one that felt that was a cluster fuck of nothingness?
That rogue/archer/assassin attacking the Legionnaires basically summed up how I play most stealth games.
Wow that was boring. It was the typical "Look at me im the only badass who can kill anything"

Holy shit is that John DiMaggio as the space cowboy?
Neat.
[editline]24th January 2013[/editline]
Actually scratch that, I want a Star Wars movie about a Space Cowboy played by John DiMaggio.
Why cant we have some decent friggin animations for MMOs? The trailer looks incredible, so why not
put WORK into the game animations? What ive seen from TESO looks horrible even for MMO standards.
Games like warframe look brilliant and fluid compared to that, and thats not even a big title.
The trailer has an awesome setting, kinda reminds me of LOTR. The gameplay that we've seen isnt even close to that.
No Argonians, Dark Elves, or Khajiit... or even Altmer if I can see correctly. :C
2 Dark elves at the start in the cave with the nord, and I think the mage that was frying everyone with lightning was a high elf. Regardless of how shit the actual game will be, that was some fucking incredible animation.
I think Nords and Dark Elves are part of the Ebonhart pact and I would've thought Altmer are in the aldmeri dominion.

So yeah all the races that we know of will be included from what I can see.
The Daggerfall Covenant is comprised of the two Provinces of northwest Tamriel: High Rock and Hammerfell, home to the Bretons and the Redguards. The Covenant has also offered the Orcs the opportunity to return to their ancient homeland of Orsinium in exchange for their support. Working together, the three races have formed a powerful alliance that aims to restore the Second Empire and bring peace and prosperity back to Tamriel.
The Ebonheart Pact is the most tenuous of alliances, consisting of former enemies turned allies in northern and eastern Tamriel. The Nords, Dark Elves, and Argonians of Skyrim, Morrowind, and Black Marsh fight to restore stability to the Empire and ensure their own autonomy.
The Aldmeri Dominion is composed of the three races of southern Tamriel: the Wood Elves of Valenwood, the Khajiit of Elsweyr and the leaders of the Pact, the High Elves of the Summerset Isles. The Aldmeri Dominion fights to stop the dangerous machinations of humankind, and restore the Elven dominance in Tamriel.
Isn't this guy a dunmer? Blue-grey skin, tattoo, pointy ears. He is with a nord too that they are allied with.
Though he doesn't have red eyes that's true, probably fault on the developers side.

What are the Na-vi doing in an Elder Scrolls game! :v:
Shit if they are Dark elves they are just generic purple elves like in every other fantasy world ever.
I really liked what Skyrim did with the elves visually.

And made them ugly as fuck. Which I agree with.
So, are the people of Skyrim invading the Imperial Territory from Oblivion? Cause that's what it looks like.
Kinda weird though. I thought the point of the games was to set it in a new territory each time and never say which factions won and how, since the player's choices could differ greatly. Is this game forcing the version of history where the Stormcloaks win?
That whining violin noise
Thanks to Dishonored, I can't hear that ambiance without thinking of skulking around and nearly being spotted
