Okay, so as a collector myself I'll take a moment to point out that this guy is WAAAY too obsessed over his collection. He must of paid thousands to renovate his basement like that and equally the same for that many compact macs.

That's pretty cool actually, maybe a little overboard in the amount spent, but its pretty impressive and could be a private Apple museum. Especially since its all in the sense of modern Apple stores of "Touch & Play".

oh fuck, I JUST took care of my friends collection of old ass macs. it filled a god damned u-haul.
a IIFX, a 128k, around 5 cases of software, roughly 300 pieces of software.

I don't understand this. What's the point in collecting the different variations of the same model if you're just going to display the external appearance. The beauty in hardware collecting is actually looking at the chips and pcbs.
I think this is really cool, hes (seemingly) a really genuine guy with a harmless and cool hobby whos built something really creative. I REALLY like the "digital sculpture" as he called it, that thing looked bad ass.
