Glad to see Swery back in game development. Still sad that D4 is dead but this looks pretty promising so far, the premise feels like a much more bubbly Deadly Premonition.
Aw yeah, always down for more Swery!
margo nooooo
rip :(
absolutely no-one will get this joke i'm sorry
I don't understand what the hell I just watched.
The character design and low poly town remind me of The Town with No Name to an uncomfortable degree.
Swery sure loves his Twin Peaks plots, doesn't he?
I was going to say Hot Fuzz the game, but then all the cat shit started happening and I have no idea what this is now.

Hot Fuzz 2: Fuzzier
I don't want to say this but...
I hate it.
D4 was an absolutely fucking amazing concept. This concept... I can not see this going anywhere interesting. The art style looks cheap as hell on top of that. It's like Swery wanted to rip off Twin Peaks again but had to come up with a gimmick so he just went with the first thing that popped into his head.
No the first thing he wanted to do was having a girl detective that would unleash her powers by masturbating.
I don't know how you can judge it since we haven't seen anything really aside the art.
I want to try it since i loved Deadly P and D4 so there's room for giving a chance.
I was going to say that I was going to reserve judgement until I saw gameplay, but then I remembered that it's not really the amazing gameplay of DP that really made the game great, so we'll really just have to wait and see
Looks pretty shit tbh, like a Professor Layton knockoff.

Puzzle Agent is a Layton knock-off and is pretty good regardless.

If it makes you feel any better I was gonna make a similar reference to the show, but when most of the userbase isnt over 20, nor from Britian I felt hardly anyone else would get it either.
what the fuck is this
So...
It's the board game Clue, but people turn into cats?
Coming into this with absolutely no bias one way or the other (I have never heard of Swery65, and I have absolutely no idea what Deadly Premonition is beyond a game), I can't say I am impressed or interested. At all.
Especially since it feels like that cats thing shouldn't have been in the trailer. It feels like a twist, especially since the trailer builds up for it in a "But what dark secret does this town hold? Play the game to find out!" But instead it goes "But what dark secret does this town hold? Well let me tell you!"
It's not a board game, the description he used is a "Mystery RPG"

I didn't say it's a board game.
I said it's the board game Clue.
As in, a "who-dun-it" murder mystery with a bunch of kooky suspects and locations.
I wish "Bad Reading" was a legitimate rating again, sometimes.

Wow it's almost like when you say "It's the board game Clue", people will assume you mean it's the board game Clue.
As in a board game.
Like Clue.
I thought it was gonna leave us hanging with the shocking secret... but then it told us.
