The video is extremely awkwardly acted because there are no natural pauses between the characters whatsoever, creating a very fake stilted experience that resembles a bunch of microsoft sams pretending to be human. None of it feels real, or gives the viewer any time to actually sink in the emotions or the dynamics.

I guess there should have been a little more time between the sentences but I've got literally no idea how you equate too little space between sentences = no acting what so even, microsoft sam is better, whole video sucks :v:
Personally I though it was very good, the characters felt natural and believable, the actors were pretty good at projecting the emotions their characters were feeling and the camerawork was overall decent. The cuts being to quick is at most a minor complaint.
I think it depends on the speed of how they are firing off the lines, one of the problems that does come out is that the pace is too quick and there aren't as many pauses as I would have like to see. However it's a comedy and you can see the way it is designed for you to laugh at, the small things in what we say and how it;s sometimes those small things that we live for. No matter how pathetic it may seem to other people.
Additionally I think that when it comes to making a great video with context, you need to have some small time and have the pacing in a more natural way. It's what makes really memorable videos, it''s what George Lucas used for the original Star Wars trilogy.

Not as bad as most sitcoms

"Scott Pilgrim-ing"
Oh my fucking god the way he ordered had me rolling
Whenever my parents take me out to eat I give a simple 1-line order, and my parents will get the same fucking order they always do after asking for the soup of the day, what the side options are, what seasoning is on the tilapia, and debating amongst themselves WHILE THE SERVER IS THERE if they will split a meal together.

if you talk to people theres often very little pause between replies, most responses come off the bat and are improvised on the spot
thats why we have language filler, it gives us more time to process the remainder of our response. people who drop the spaghetti and make poor decisions(like the guy in the vid) arent uncommon
it feels decently realistic to me

you might just suck at talking if you cant keep an interesting conversation rolling without pause.

Weird, my brain can process more than one thing at a time. Maybe I'm a superhero.
c'est la vie
:(
This is 100x more sad if you know people like this.
And it's really hard to offer advice to them other than "stop being socially awkward."
