C&C appreciated
This is so great, loving how chilled it was. I was expecting a full on DnB drop at the first drop, I was a tiny bit disappointed for a second then I realised how awesome and dark it sounded. Really loved it.
One thing I've always wondered, these are going commerical, right? Where'd you get the vocal sample, and did you need permission to use it?
EDIT: Also could you share some tips on how to get such a deep bass to have so much drive?
Haha, this is cool as fuck. The intro kicks ass.
On an unrelated note, congrats for getting signed!
Love the bass, the key it's played in sounds rather strange to me but that makes the track unique. The atmosphere in both of the tracks in your ep are spot on.
And of course, congrats on the signing!
thanks guys, means alot to me :)
as for the questions, i didnt get any permission for the vocal samples but i think as long as it doesnt literally have a running commentary throughout it's free. creative commons n that
and for the bass, it's important to fill out every part of the song to get atmosphere. make the pads wide and loud and the bass subby and thin. that way it sounds like there's a central bass underneath the song and pads floating gently above it, with drums flickering in between.
(if you can understand that, cause im shit at explaining things)

Depends completely under waht kind of CC license it is. Also it probably has attribution so you have to credit the original artist. Also if you actually meant fair use, that probably wont protect you since it's commercial
