Because complaining makes you feel good.
I can't stand it when groups have like, 20 minutes of silence after the last song so they can have a bonus song. Can't you just make it so it's just an unlisted track or something? Nirvana, you ruined a perfect album with that shit. At least when Radiohead did it it was only like, 2 minutes of silence.
Why do so many hip-hop albums have all these skits? No other genre of music does that and it doesn't really add to the music. Okay Kanye, we get that you think college is a waste of time but we don't need thirty 10 second tracks telling us about it. See guys like A Tribe Called Quest and Nas understand that a rap album should be filled with y'know actual songs.
Also there seems to be a lot of debate online about comparing metal bands to indie bands. That's not even like comparing apples to oranges. It's like comparing koala bears to turtles or Jackie Chan to James Joyce.
Music Snobbery. Ok, I dislike a lot of popular music, but disliking music because it's popular is just dumb. And the whole "I liked x-Band before they we're popular!" thing.

There's also disliking a band because it's unpopular which is just as stupid.
Wow, I thought about making this thread yesterday :psyduck:
I can't stand it when people say "Vinyls", I don't like it when there is a group of people listening to an album and a person says "Why do we have to listen to the same person all the time", I personally think there is a seperation between people that like "light hearted" music and "rough type".
Judging music based on hearing a few seconds of it from an iphone speaker... goddamn I hate that.
:argh: :arghfist::smug::fh:
I hate when opening bands repeatedly say the name of the bands they're opening for just to get a reaction off the crowd.
I also hate when artists release extra tracks that are only available in certain regions.
This one has nothing to do with the artist, but I also hate how most people I know who listen to popular music and rap think that anyone who listens to rock, metal or punk bands thinks is an emo/goth etc. It's pretty common for this to happen in my school and it's just annoying and ignorant. I'm not saying that everyone who listens to popular music or rap does this though
when people comment on an entirely different genre on the subject of another
on the ukf channel theres a constant stream of comments that all say "justin bieber is a faggot" or "rock sucks", as if anyone actually cares what their opinions on other genres are

What the fuck is the keyboard guy even doing?

I think he's trying to rape the keyboard, but the keyboard is fighting back.
I hate how every damn album needs to be louder than the last one.
This sometimes completely ruins the album, like Metallica's Death Magnetic.
And I also get really annoyed about bands with ridiculously long names, dont know why.

bang your head harder!
I have a friend who is starting a band and he is literally going to give it a name like "John" or "Harold"
i thought that was p cool XD
Auto Tune and Will.I.Am.
I hate it when bands and artists play the same mothefucking part for way too long, it frustrates me to no end.

She's so heavy
Heh, yeah.
And no the fact that She's so Heavy drags on is amazing, it builds up to something fantastic but it just cuts off.
Gives me chills man.
pretty much the entire metal fanbase
pretty much the entire metal fanbase
And the fact that one band can have a shitty guitarist that plays a different fucked up way so instantly its a new genre, what the fuck. Metal comes out with more shitty subgenres than disney comes out with shitty ass movies.
pretty much the entire metal fanbase
I disagree, you can't dislike people for liking a style of music in my opinion.
pretty much the entire metal fanbase
Okay
how
what
why
I think the point was he doesn't like the way they act.
I think the point was he doesn't like the way they act.
Yes I totally act like a douche
Stereotyping is not very nice.
That is not stereotyping, it is a prejudgement.

For me more specifically classical music elitist snobbery. I'm a classical violinist and sometimes that behavior drives me insane. "Rock music is for uneducated low class people etc..." :fuckoff:
"Rock music is for uneducated low class people etc..." :fuckoff:
Jesus christ
Do people like that really exist?
"Rock music is for uneducated low class people etc..." :fuckoff:
I personally think more people say that about "punk" and "hip-hop". :smith:
Jesus christ

That was the general opinion among people when rock music was new and still rising.

There was a thread back then where someone shared a bunch of classical music saying that was "real" music and another member claimed that all rock is just the same riffs repeated and only stuff like classical and jazz has the "purest melody" or some stupid shit like that. I'll try to find it.

It is true though, prove to me that it isn't correct.
