True Blood - Sundays @ 9 - General

Following the creation of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. Sookie Stackhouse is a telepath and waitress at Merlotte's in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, owned by Sam Merlotte, a shapeshifter--though this secret is kept hidden. One night, Sookie meets Bill Compton, a handsome 173-year-old vampire who has returned to Bon Temps following the death of his last remaining relative. You know what doesn't mix? Drama and Vampires. Vampires are supposed to be suave, mysterious men of the night that feast on the living. Not the god damn center of Soap Operas.

Watched the first episode after the season premier of Entourage in September and HATED it. Then watched it again a few weeks ago with my girlfriend, and realized it was just the first episode that was dullsville. Pumped for the rest of season 2.

If I had HBO, I might watch it.

I've seen this advertised all over and have wondered if it's truly worth watching. I'm all for Vampires, not all for Drama. I remember my mom watched an episode of this. pretty much ignoring anything about it, and I monologued over it, changing the show to be about an up-and-coming metal band. rofl

I watched the first season and It had some great sex scenes. But It's kinda lame with those ugly vampires and their stupid teeth.
