I'm gonna start volunteering at an animal shelter tomorrow. - General

Nobody that works there is really a cat person, and I fucking love cats, so I'm gonna start volunteering to help feed and love the cats. What I'm going to be doing mostly tomorrow is bottle-feeding 4 newborns (newborn as in eyes barely open) and putting food in the cages of 5 or 6 more, petting and holding a lot of them, and possibly adopting two of them to keep at my house. If they let me bring my camera I'll make sure to get pictures of the newborns, and of the two I might be adopting.

You will see cats and dogs put down every day. It's not really much of a "loving" place to snuggle with cats which will probably bite and scratch you.

friends of my parents get a new born nest of street kittens every couple of weeks. most of the time their mom died etc. most of the time they are just a week old. they have to feed them and teach them how th litter box works by rubbing their belly while sitting on it. until they don't know how it works they have to pee in a piece of cotton by making it rub against their belly. When they know how to use the litter-box they are set free from their cage and are allowed to walk through the living room. when they are about 10 weeks old they are put up for adoption. they get adopted quite fast. they visit the people who adopt the kittens every day for 2 weeks to check on the kitten. we adopted 2 kittens from the same nest. the are almost half a year old now and are just to cute for words. The 2 kittens we adopted.(note they are a little bit big bigger now. but still damn cute.) Awesome. I am going to do the same with a local animal shelter here. I have to do community serves hours to get into collage so at least it will be somewhat helping the community.

I volunteer at a local shelter and the cats are adorable This weekend, I'm going up to a camp for special needs kids and it's gonna be fun, those kids are a blast to be around
