A young man with obvious mental problems lives with his parents and works in a low paid job has a mechanic. He is seen to be constantly bombarded with the worlds problems via the TV and radio and listening to the views of what seems his only friend. After being told by his parents that its time he left home and being victimised by his boss at work he devises a plan to reduce the local towns population because he believes overcrowding is causing the worlds problems. [sp]He builds a suit from Kevlar and makes his way into town, first he immobalizes the local police by using a remote controlled van full of explosives to destroy the police station. He then goes on a killing spree killing people at random including a local coffee shop owner he earlier had a disagreement with over the foam on his coffee. He robs a bank after killing most of the employees then puts on a show of burning some of the money to show that its worthless and also the cause of the worlds problems. After the killing spree he phones his friend who is waiting in a near by forrest expecting some paintball compitition with the young man. When he arrives at the forrest he immobalizes his friend with a stun gun and places a pistol in his hand shooting him in the head to make it look like suicide. he leaves the body surrounded by the kevlar suit and some of the stolen money and makes his way home before his parents arrive home with tales of horror about what has gone on in the town. The film finishes with a video of the young man saying he about to go on his own personal quest to further reduce the population and you see him packing a large amount of money and belongings before he leaves. The police believing they have the dead perpertrator also arrest the dead mans father who has an history as a political activist. Just before the titles are played a statement is shown saying the young man vanished and his where abouts are unknown.[/sp]
Uwe Boll acctuly made a fucking good movie 2012 is real
Uwe Boll.. making a good movie? WHAT IS THIS SORCERY!
LIES! IT'S ALL LIES UWE BOLL CAN NEVER MAKE A GOOD MOVIE!!! (In the name of the King wasn't that bad, though).
I was surprised watching this, that it was by him. In honesty it was real fucked up. Otherwise it was definitely an interesting flick. Camera did not need to be shaky as FUCK 24/7 though.
I actually was surprised at how good this movie was. I enjoyed it, although yes it was pretty fucked up.
I watched it a few days ago. Fantastic movie. Not really sure if he's doing a sequel (indirect or direct) because of the semi cliffhanger ending
4 people saying Uwe Boll made a good movie... I guess I have to watch this one.
Eh it looks ok
I can't wait, his movies aren't exactly top ten material, but they're fun to watch. He's got a pretty good sense of humor to, I really enjoyed Postal.
Just finished watching the movie, and yes; it was good. Not great mind you, since I did find a few things that bothered me: but an interesting picture nonetheless. [sp]The bingo scene made this movie worth watching alone.[/sp]
This was a pretty good movie, Postal was good as well. Didn't like In the Name of the King, though.
Tyler Durden meets Postal huh alrighty then
this thread needs to watch better movies... don't waste your time trying to watch a movie that "isn't bad" for a Uwe Boll movie
I saw this on netflix, it was fucking hilariously brutal [editline]12:49AM[/editline] I enjoyed how sadistic the guy was
this thread needs to watch better movies... don't waste your time trying to watch a movie that "isn't bad" for a Uwe Boll movie
Who are you and why are you telling me what to do with my time
this thread needs to watch better movies... don't waste your time trying to watch a movie that "isn't bad" for a Uwe Boll movie
Did you see the movie? It's worth checking out regardless of who made it, but since it's Boll it's stunning that he made something good. We're saying, "Wow, this movie sucked less then House of the Dead", we're saying that it's actually watchable.
i liked it so yeah, see it if you have time and are interested. it honestly wasnt as terrible as people make uwe boll out to be...
so uh.. what game is this based off?
so uh.. what game is this based off?
None. Shocking, I know.
Surprisingly I actually enjoyed this movie! Second Uwe Boll movie I've ever liked. (Postal being semi liked first)
I love when they talk about [sp]a oil spill that messed up the entire coast on the radio[/sp] The best part is when he is [sp]Sitting and eating at the bingo hall then just thinks, fuck it[/sp]
i actually really liked this. i never thought i'd say i liked an uwe boll film. although i think it should have ended differently [sp]instead of disappearing he should have just stayed and used the money (small amounts obviously not to arouse suspicion) for everyday life[/sp]
Uwe Boll.. making a good movie? WHAT IS THIS SORCERY!
I liked Postal :colbert:
I liked Postal :colbert:
I did to, it was so distaste full and fun at the same time.
I might check this out, it has a good concept.
the posters look really bad, but i guess that's a given with uwe boll
Last scene with the guy's head exploding... The charge and fake blood shot up from out of the ground beside his head... If I can spot that in .2 seconds of footage then this movie isn't going to be great
The movie is OK, but brutal as hell...
so uh.. what game is this based off?
Kept thinking of GTA because he walked around the bingo place with all the guns and no one cared.
Last scene with the guy's head exploding... The charge and fake blood shot up from out of the ground beside his head... Guess what, just about EVERY movie has at least one thing like that no matter how small. I guess with continuity errors deserve a one star rating too, right?
