this kind of stuff stopped being scary long long ago
Well it was being more of a tease banner than an actual one.
[editline]3rd March 2013[/editline]
if that makes sense
makes sense.
it's just my opinion, though. someone'll contribute eventually.
I'm sad. Nothing scares me anymore.
I remember the days when things could actually creep me out, but I think I have just seen it all now.

Yeah, but the creepy stuff is still very interesting and thought-provoking.
That op
Im serious, squidward suicide still scares me.
Just imagine, you are alone in your house, you are going to sleep.
You open the door of you room and you look at the window, he is here and he is staring at you.
You can hear the opening music of Sponge bob getting corrupted and being loud and loud.
You can't keep staring at him, you are too nervious to close your eyes or even run.
He is getting close and close and he turns more real.

This, right here, one of my favorite reads in a LONG time. It's originally a Reddit post, but I can't be bothered to find it right now.

Does anyone have that one smile.jpg that didn't have the red filter, and looked like an actual dog. That was adorable.

Then I move away from the aquarium, they can't even keep track of the octopus, who would be

Might as well post it again since it was discovered near the end of the last thread.

I see Dorothy did hook up with the scarecrow, and their kid is doing well.
This one just popped out on my recommendation page, I have no idea if it's supposed to be surreal, a mistake in recording, part of a creepypasta or whatever but it's definitely weird, and it's been only uploaded since Feb 24 this year.

Make sure to turn on captions, there's actually some English text from time to time.

Thanks. Is the second one a copy of the original image. It doesn't have the row of human teeth, and it has a slightly different expression. But in that one it looks like it's laughing. The evil smile remove any creepiness from this for me.

Does anyone have any creepy stuff based around adult horror? 'cause adult horror is pretty much real horror, and the realness of it can be scary, since IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!
Russian Sleep Experiment remains one of the best 'pastas out there
It's not really scary but it carries a message
The word "Changeling" was once used to refer to an unwanted child, who the parents often believed were demons switched at birth by malicious fairies - often "Changelings" would have unusual behaviors or traits, which by modern standards would be considered birth defects or handicaps yet in the ancient mind was seen as proof of the child's inhuman origin.
Often these poor children were subjected to abuse as a common belief was in place at the time that in order to get rid of the "Changeling" the parents would have to mistreat it severely so that the fairies would take the "Changeling" back.
In the modern age such practices are rightfully resigned to the past, yet there was a disturbing case not long ago of an infamous child-abuse case that would not of been out of place in the dark superstitions of the middle ages: yet it was not in a remote village but instead in the heart of one of Scotland's most famous cities, that of Edinburgh.
The child at the centre of this disturbing story was named Elizabeth and was taken from her home at the age of three, having enduring great hardship in her young life - mostly at the hands of her mother, the woman known as Agatha.
Agatha lived alone and had raised Elizabeth almost in complete isolation from the rest of the world, having been obsessed with collecting figurines of fairies Agatha's home was a shrine to these figures - almost every square inch of the four bedroom apartment was packed full of the impressive ornaments and Elizabeth was confined to a small cot at the edge of a lonely room.
Agatha conversed daily with the figurines, as if they were alive, every time Elizabeth would cry Agatha would ask the figurines to take her away - yet grew increasingly angry as her pleas seemed to fall on deaf ears.
Deciding to spark the "fairies" into action Agatha took to starving young Elizabeth, when this failed to cause a response Agatha began to beat her daughter - continually asking the figurines to take her away.
Remarkably little Elizabeth survived three years of this torture, Agatha's cruelty only growing worse over time as she began to treat Elizabeth like an animal and boarded up most of the windows in the house so as to leave her in darkness for days on end.
One night a frantic call came to the police as a neighbor reported a terrible noise from Agatha's home - when police arrived they had to resort to breaking the door down as Agatha refused to answer.
Once inside the police found Agatha standing over a terrified Elizabeth, having tied the child to a table and preparing to strike her with one of the fairy statues, having gathered many others in a disturbing circle around the table.
Agatha was quickly apprehended and Elizabeth was saved, as she was led away Agatha claimed that Elizabeth was a monster, that her "real" daughter was with the "fairies" and that she had to get rid of Elizabeth in order to make things "right" again.
Following further investigation into Agatha's past authorities discovered that she had been a mother before but tragically lost her baby, which sparked her obsession with collecting fairy figurines - yet despite this she tried for another child a few years later and thus Elizabeth was born.
Agatha is currently in a psychiatric ward, having been deemed a danger to society - little Elizabeth on the other hand has moved on, finding a new family and a life free from cruelty, though only time can tell what the events of those three years have done to her.
I don't understand the interest in that original pic anyway, it just looked like a still from some weird porno, not anything to be "creeped out" by.
The thread is a pleasant surprise though, I was expecting just some lame "zomg skeletons 2spooky!" meme responses.

ok guys slightly creepy story that just happened to me(idk where else to tell it either).
i was too lazy today to take my dog for our usual 3 mile walk, but about an hour ago i got the urge to take it by myself; i can't be lazy all day, y'know. walking through the neighborhood is a trip at night. i live in a low income town, and the neighborhood seems like only a step above a trailer park in terms of "beauty". there are hardly any street lights, and half the streetlights that are set up don't actually work properly at all. it's dark, dogs bark at me every block, and one little chihauha actually ran out of his yard to follow me and bark at me. i swear if that little fucker bit me i would have kicked a god damn field goal.
so i am walking along the highway that goes through my neighborhood when i start to smell something. my neighborhood has some peculiar smells, i guess it's what you get from such a diverse redneck slum, but this smell was just plain odd. it was a combination of burnt sunflower seeds and sesame seeds. i'm not even next to a house at this point, just a small field about the size of two or three normal sized lots. i am perplexed as all shit, and at this point even wondering if the smell is coming from me for some reason.
as i ponder this particularly peculiar scent, the street lamp flickers out. shit, now i'm in the dark with some fucking pungent smell. suddenly i hear something in the grass rustling. in a split second, i go from "this is fucking annoying" to "oh god i'm gonna die!" now something is shaking my sleeve, as if whatever demon that was hidden lunged at me to pull me down into the depths of the grass with it.
and as soon as it started, it all stopped. i look over and nothing is there. the lamp flickers back on, and for a second i debate whether or not anything actually happened at all. the only evidence of it happening is the shot of adrenaline going through my bloodstream. that, and that smell that still lingered in the air.
seriously, what the fuck just happened?
