I'm not even sure what to think on this. I know the fanbase of Dragon Quest is extremely traditionalist, and apparently it's not distinctly a Musou/Warriors game, but it sure as hell seems like at least a partial clone with DQ elements put ontop.

It seems like a similar idea to Hyrule Warriors. Taking the world and characters from one franchise and applying them to the gameplay of the Warriors games.
