From what I've read in the Creative Shit that Doesn't Need a Thread thread, always use hard brushes and don't use 1px brushes. And no opacity either. And block your base colors in.
As the owner of that tablet, would you recommend it to others?
What really fucking pisses me off is that I have the same tablet.
I should have advanced

if you can't draw on paper then you draw worse on a tablet.

Unless you, you know, train...
You should start learning to use layers and different brushes.
If you plan on cartooning, use a pressure sensitive, opaque, and hard brush to make line art, and then use a 'multiply' layer to color.

If you plan on painting, try to keep to a 60-70% transparency brush and maybe a softer brush for tone painting.

Just my two cents.
Jam it down your urethra and draw with it.

This man is the only one in this thread who knows what he's saying.

Actually, I draw better on a tablet just because I can erase any mistakes I make until they're perfect.

Takes like a week to get used to though. And that's heavy usage. And yeah, train.

Funny thing, during the first few weeks of getting my tablet I had been compulsively pressing ctrl + z on drawings every 15 seconds now because I had the power the undo my shit when I drew without erase marks, and I liked to try and keep my digital and physical drawing skills moderated so that they don't mess each other up too badly, so for the first few weeks, I would actually find myself mimicking the finger motions for ctrl + z on my left hand while drawing on paper when I messed up.
The same thing happened when I wanted to make a straight line on paper, I would try to make the hotkey for line-tool with my hand but nothing happened :(
