I hope he bans himself for the sake of principal.
Yeah man I'm pretty sure she isn't prime minister just yet
[editline]07:58PM[/editline]
Prime ministeress?
isn't there a female version of minister
UPDATE!
Its Bill Shorten, Ovisally a Labor party member trying to get the change.
But the rumors are almost true, There voting on it.
So we could have Australia's Worst PM still in or Australia's First Woman
In...
Abbot would become the minister. :ohdear:
How about we all just stage a coup and get it over with ourselves
There's a reason they might change to Gillard, she's far more popular. If Gillard gets in, Labour might keep it. I'm really hoping Abbot doesn't get in and there is a national referendum to drop him into the ocean 200 miles out to sea.
Oh my god
I elect Zach Anner to replace him if he doesn't get the TV show. It'll be so much better.

You're dreaming if you think that Kevin Rudd is the worst PM, obviously you haven't heard of William McMahon or Malcolm Frasier, now those were terrible PMs.
Fat chance of Rudd resigning either, if the Labor party does that, they will no doubt lose the election which is the last thing they want. Seriously, you people need to think rationally, the Liberals just got away with it with Turnbull because they had the time to talk up Abbott leading into the election this year.
[editline]08:19PM[/editline]
and Gillard wouldn't lie, but if this is true, we can say goodbye to the Labor party.
Well with Kevin theres a high chance of losing and after the damaged caused tonight showing that some of his party dislike him is a hard thing for a PM to bounce back from in time for the Election.
I think unless they put Gillard labor is screwed
Doesn't everyone in the Labour party have to agree on it for Ruddy to be sacked?
I doubt the ALP will vote for a new leader. These mini routs occur all the time in the Government, however they are almost never successful.
If we see Gillard becoming the new leader of the ALP and thus the Prime Minister, I can't imagine her winning the ALP any seats in the upcoming election. Australia just isn't ready for a woman leader - for whatever reason.

Do you watch Question Time?
The Liberals have been smashing Labor for the last month, unless the keep Rudd and start doing some serious shit on the super profits tax and that budget, they MIGHT win the election.
IF they put Gillard in, they are giving themselves a one way ticket to becoming the opposition next year. Any change in party leader regardless of who they are is always bad for votes, because when it comes down to the people, the majority of Australia is pretty damn ignorant to politics and goes into the polling booth choosing whoever the Herald Sun liked more that morning.

Also if the ALP vote for Gillard, Kevin Rudd would not be resigning - he just wouldn't be leading the party anymore.
Australia Workers Union have said that they are in support for kevin rudd to be removed...
Must be the mining tax.

Not a good move at all by the workers union, seeing as how their only pals in Government are the Labor party.
Abbot would become the minister. :ohdear:
The nightmare begins.
Get johnny back into base

He's too busy trying to head Cricket.
Man I hate politics so much, what makes K-dawg so bad anyway?
Man I hate politics so much, what makes K-dawg so bad anyway?
He does nothing. From the insulation crisis to the super tax, everything is bad.
Man I hate politics so much, what makes K-dawg so bad anyway?
Insulation: failed
ETS : shelfed
Super Profits Tax :failed
Japanese whaling court order: failed
National Health Plan: failed
Economy: Sucess
plus a huge amount of bad publicity and the little-weak-boy image that comes with him. Still, he did well in a few areas but he had his back against the wall since the start.
Dogunn, i reckon i played Dod:Source with you a few weeks ago, i clog up your tram on the way home?
Kick one cunt out, gain another.

Hahahahahaha, yes, that's me! GET OFF MY TRAM
[editline]09:09PM[/editline]
Economy: Sucess
In retrospect, I don't believe Rudd's budgetry policy did much. The economy would've recovered reguardless, thanks to the fantastic mining companies.
Kick one cunt out, gain another.
Gillard would be a good leader in theory.
however, as an opposition leader, which i assure you she will be come next year, she will be a terrible opp. leader, she doesnt have the flare or voice like normal opposition leaders.

The economy would have stabilized over time, the stimulus package however let Australia just skim past a recession without having any large major long term affect to the economy.
hahhaa, im going to take the tram every day now in spite of you, ill make sure ill put my bag right in front of the doors too.
