And this is why I can't stand Kingdom hearts no longer. No matter how much I love the gameplay, its like playing the worst written fan fiction of all-time. I blame the fanboys/girls that would buy every goddamn spin-off and allowed Square to sidestep the main plot for as long as possible. Only the disney characters and interactions keep it bearable.
Story doesn't seem too bad, the way it's summarized makes plenty of sense, only problem is that there's so much of it that is mostly expanded on in games that are on all different platforms. I wish there were subtitles or a better narrator voice.
Jesus christ.
only ever played kh2 which was awesome
I only played 1, chain of memories, and 2. Never gave a damn about the others simply because there's no way I would be able to play them.
Oh NOW I get it.
The only possible ending for the series is that everyone turns out to be the same guy and then they all have one big orgy which gives birth to Kingdom Hearts and the credits roll with Simple and Clean playing in the background.
And Mickey Mouse is somewhere in there.
This guy
Fuck, I just lost like 5000 brain cells.
Goddammit enix you make me lose braincells from this and I couldn't hear shit because of the fucking music. I hope shaggy rogers voices his opinions on this story of a boi who got giant aids than fucked the universe since it was his sister and it was a universe holy fuck why did I do this piece of shit ? Anyways music story and plot makes no sense.
Oh! I thought that guy was that guy, but really it was that guy. How'd I get that wrong.
Played KH1 & 2 and I'm playing through DDD now. Honestly I got most of that, except for the prequel characters, who don't matter a whole lot anyway. KH is fun. The plot is poorly written at times, but it doesn't detract much from it.
This GUY goes to THIS GIRL WHO GOES TO THIS TO STOP THIS GUY. THIS GIRL/GUY FUSES WITH THIS GIRL/GUY I played only Kingdom hearts 2 but hell without the entire clusterfuck of backstory I actaully made more sense then the entire story.
I've just realized I can't remember any kind of game play about this game, think I've only ever seen cinematic scenes from it
I burst out laughing when the video first mentions Mickey; like the story wasn't already more complex than it should be, and then THIS GUY Mickey Mouse jumps into the picture. I am so glad I only played KH 1 & 2.
The plot doesn't sound as bad when it's not presented in chronological order and the handheld ones weren't worth playing imo
Don't hold me up on this but I heard Marvel is in the next Kingdom Hearts since Marvel is owned by Disney.
The plot doesn't sound as bad when it's not presented in chronological order and the handheld ones weren't worth playing imo
If there's any handheld games I can recommend, it's Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance. Although the worlds are very.. Empty, they're legitimately as fun as the console games to an extent. Plus both are plot essential. You can skip Days and Coded, the 'Chronicles' summaries that DDD gives for them works. Chain of Memories isn't really necessary either, but it does help make sense of a couple things KH2 didn't really explain to some degree. The Final Mix of the first Kingdom Hearts game, along with the remake of Chain of Memories and the cutscenes/story of Days, are coming to the US on the PS3 as the HD 1.5 Remix in early September, so that's one way to cover that first 'half' of the series without going through all the bullshit. [editline]7th July 2013[/editline]
Don't hold me up on this but I heard Marvel is in the next Kingdom Hearts since Marvel is owned by Disney.
We know nothing about the next Kingdom Hearts, I wouldn't think they'd throw Marvel in there. If they do, they might as well throw in a damn Star Wars world or something like that, which I doubt they'd do either.
You can read plot summaries or watch cutscenes, it is not worth the time to sit through those games especially with PSP controls
Don't hold me up on this but I heard Marvel is in the next Kingdom Hearts since Marvel is owned by Disney.
The only thing we know of KH3 is that Sora is obviously in it and it's actually being worked on (after years of silence). Also that Twilight Town is going to return. So far that's all we know.
Still more understandable than MGS
Well in the end I dont care because I want Kingdom Hearts 3 so this can end once and for all.
Well in the end I dont care because I want Kingdom Hearts 3 so this can end once and for all.
who said this was the last one? They still have to meet their ridiculous portable game quota
I like how little it took to explain the tutorial level of KH2 which took way too fucking long
I like how little it took to explain the tutorial level of KH2 which took way too fucking long
It also gave you shit you basically never use again like the skateboard.
I played every single one except for DDD, which I have ready to play. I have yet to play it because I feel like I should mentally prepare myself first. I think BBS was the one that fucked the story a LOT. Not saying it was bad (its my favorite one), it's just that the prequel threw in so much stuff that I replayed KH2 afterwards to get my bearings straight.
I lost it when they fought people with blunt ended gigantic keys that are apparently swords

I will not boycott the game or lay it upon others to do so. I will not buy it used or pirate it. I wil, and get this, this is a very extreme measure to take: Never play those two worlds if the game permits it. Very good solution to content that i don't like.
