At the moment I am in love with Chillstep, any one got any good artists they'd like to share? or thoughts about why this genre is so awesome :D at the moment I just have Blackmill, and that is fine for me :P

I disagree.
I like music like in the OP that doesn't have too much "hard" beats in it, just fluid waves or something. I'm bad at describing things. Happy stuff?

I get what you mean, I should embed my spotify playlists somewhere, but I do like dubstep equally as much but sometimes it is much better to listen to this to calm shit down :P Like if I was gonna play L4D2 I'd play Skrillex but if I was building in GMod or MC or any calmer games it is Blackmill for me :3

Most of the dubstep I listen to is the calmer or deeper stuff, dubstep that doesn't even have wobbles. Which is what i post the dubstep dubstep thread. I'm not really a fan of Blackmill though, his kicks and snares are very generic and are used by a lot of producers.

the stuff posted in this thread is dubstep, it should be the crap that people like skrillex produce that gets its own subgenre - not the original definition of dubstep

Meh, for me it's extreme or the other. Hard bass with good pacing, or a bit softer dynamic stuff.

I don't really have a set genre that I listen to, just random things that just happen to sound nice in my ears.
M83 aren't Dubstep though, We Own The Sky is at least Synth Pop.

I'm not really a fan of Dubstep, but I really enjoy "chillstep" as you put it.
I only have blackmill though, so I can't really help you there...
is this one of those genres where only like 2 artists actually make it, and it sounds the same as an already pre-existing genre
