As stated in Youtube's comments
this shit is like real life pokemon.Just more retarded.*
I couldn't agree more. Their main base of operations is http://www.gladiatorbugs.com/ where these bugs are forced to engage in battle.
NOW WITH PROFESSIONAL ANALYSIS!
I think hands down the Centipede will always win. look at it this way. its a twisty (it can slip out of mostly anything the other buggs* could try) hard shelled
(armored) animal with a painful poison on its jaws...with body parts that can break off if need be...(ofc other than the head itself).

They should have used a large Maine lobster instead of this scrawny species. Total fail to use a small soft shell lobster vs.a large scorpion because
then there are no advantages for lobster and all edge goes to the scorpion. Maine lobster would at least have claw size, shell hardness and power vs. Scorpion's speed and deadly stinger. That's more fair.
This is pretty cruel, in my opinion.
Nice shot of the scorpion buttfucking the beetle for like a minute
fucking awesome
if only i had an idea of what the hell was going on
oh man look at this one, 10:15 scorpion chops off one of the spiders legs ohh my god

nightmares tonight ..
Lets put two terrified dogs fighting for their lives for our pleasure instead.

I must admit, it is slightly entertaining despite this. Totally not enough to warrant many bugs dying, but still.
I've seen something like this before only the bugs were on some sort of platform that was floating on water. It had some other type of beetle vs a scorpion in the one I saw. Surprised the beetle actually won. It's kind of messed up. Leave it to Japan to do this kind of thing.
Here's another good site:
www.japanesebugfights.com
Had it sitting in my bookmarks for quite some time now. Not sure if it still works, I'm browsing on my mobile.
Instantly reminded me of that scorpion fighting scene from Jarhead.
eeh, it has been proven that bugs can't feel pain before, so i have no reasl standing on this
It doesn't bother me, because honestly, they're just bugs. If it were an animal we can make real connections to like a dog or something, then I would feel bad.
Aye, I draw the line at cockfighting. This is no worse than keeping a tankful of hermit crabs. Damn things drop dead whenever they want, anyway.
That tiny aquarium! What the fuck?
The beetle can't even turn around, let alone battle to the death.
May as well pull his legs off and have him fight D:

Get a grip dude, they're bugs. Every bug that dies in that show has a thousand siblings.
These people have been playing too much Dwarf Fortress.

So do dogs and cats. If this is funny, then so is dogfighting (personally I don't care much about either).
Yes, but they also contain social traits and shows sign of intelligence beyond eat, shit, fuck.
beyond ATROCIOUS
ITS LIKE REAL LIFE POKEMON!!

Well it still isn't a particularly nice thing to enjoy watching. I mean, even if bugs aren't particularly valuable creatures, you're still watching things die for just as much entertainment as you can get from other shows.
If the bugs weren't so disgusting this would be so awesome.

What I am trying to get at is: Why do you give a fuck, they're bugs

Why do people give a fuck about cats? I mean, they're just cats.
30 Hornets vs 30,000 Bees.
Hoooly shit.
