It's impressive to see how well the game designer re-imagined the game as a 3D world, but it seems like he may have re-imagined it too well. It feels like the game is still trying to be a 2D NES game, which is very confusing in a 3D, first-person perspective. It's still fun, but it's often a bit disorienting.
First megaman and now this? Someone pleeeeeease make an original fps contra!
