A propaganda video uploaded to YouTube by North Korean authorities has been removed after a copyright complaint from game publisher Activision.
North Korea's official website, Uri-minzokkiri, which distributes news and propaganda from the state media, posted the video that depicted a US city resembling New York engulfed in flames after an apparent missile attack.
But the footage of burning buildings was taken from Activision's best-selling game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

I hope the glorious leader wont come and kick our door in for this
I am ok with this.
Late.
The only time Activision has done any good besides VtMB.
That video was pretty dumb to begin with, I highly doubt NK can harm the US in any way. They can send bombs, but the US could counter them. And if they set foot on the mainland, not only will the military react, but the millions of armed Americans as well.
This is so surreal.
Activision has more power than North Korea.
Somehow it doesn't surprise me.

I really wonder if that was Activision, or someone who made a DMCA against the video. Either way, it shows people can overpower NK right from the internet.
This is so cyberpunk
I saw the video, and it looked like a 90's infomercial.

i see what u did there
You have to wonder: Did Activision do this to intentionally make Un mad? Or did they do it to defend their copyright?
That video looked like it belonged in a karaoke bar anyway. If I watched it before knowing the context of it I'd think it was the karaoke version of We Are the World.
the sad part is someone is going to suffer over this
I would not be suprised when MW3's profit is higher then NK's GDP
They are going to send a strongly angry worded letter to Activision.

Not depicted: the bottom sections of the missile are engulfed in flames.
man, poor north korea. i'm sure there are thousands more call of duty videos that feature that same cutscene, but north korea is the only one that has to take their's down. breaks my heart.
Activision and NK are both pathetic.

Activision has ~1/10th of North Koreas GDP, but Walmart earns 10 times what the entire country of North Korea does.
Bill Gates' fortune is roughly twice that of the country's GDP.
...What? I don't... huh?

Bill gates should buy NK then, getting our world rid of dictatorships 1 by 1. Just like diseases!!
In other news: Activision actually makes a Call of Duty in space, to spite Dear Leader even further.
