just kidding you got it
Looks fucking fantastic
It looks ok, that's about it, not really anything ground-breaking or really exciting.
Looks marginally more interesting than AC 3, at least.
Ok I'm hyped.
This better have a quality storyline; AC3 was kinda meh, like it had tons of potential but the execution could have been better.
looks like a better version of ac3
I like the theme and everything and the main character, Edward, seems quite interesting too. But I am really annoyed by his outfit, it doesn't look very pirate-ish at all. Those combat animations look fantastic though.

This looks a bit more fitting but it still don't like it too much.
the fact that they recycled a lot of stuff from AC3 makes it disappointing and i can't put any hype on this. the ships which were a NICE addition to AC3, sure, and it definitely added to the assassin's creed saga. but instead of making this an expansion which it clearly could be labeled as, it's a full blown title. the only new gameplay mechanic i saw from the trailer was underwater enemies and battle. but it's seriously not as exciting as ship battles (which again, is NOT something new since it was primarily shown on AC3) and looks very gimmicky. this is going to be boring when it comes out. [editline]25th March 2013[/editline] also the character was pretty bland. he doesn't look interesting because they didn't give any insight. let's hope this changes.

So AC1 was obviously Altair's story (with the minor exception of Revelations), AC2 and all it's spinoffs/expansions were Ezio's saga, AC3 was Connor, and so since AC4 introduces a new character to the mix, Connor's grandfather, therefore this game gets called AC4. Article here
While some people wrote the title off as little more than an expansion, with the announcement of another Ezio title, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, it’s become increasingly clear that Ubisoft has a formula for what titles are worthy of a new numerical designation – and which ones are best represented by a subtitle. According to Alexandre Amancio, Revelations creative director – a new series number means a new character, therefore, “Assassin’s Creed III will be about another character.” It’s still unclear when Assassin's Creed 3, which hasn’t been formerly announced, will appear – but with a new character comes the likelihood of a new historical era.
It makes sense! Although, I'm not going to set the bar that high for this one, do to them still using the 360 and PS3, which will definitely affect the development and overall quality of the game. (AC3 ran and looked like shit on the Xbox 360, that's a fact.)
November is too far away, I thought this was a DLC?
November is too far away, I thought this was a DLC?
You're going to wait even longer if you want it for PC, of course.
I really like the look of the game, AC is kinda a guilty pleasure of mine, but the voice-over really annoyed me in this trailer. I'd rather just see the gameplay/music.
So hype.

same shitty engine they're just being like CoD now, forcing out rehashed shit because they're too afraid to advance and spend time risking money well I'll tell you what if they put actual THOUGHT into a better engine, or at least made upgrades like better view distance LOD's, SSAO, FXAA, ambient occlusion, sharper textures, bokeh DoF in the right cinematic sequences.. the game would probably look so, so much better and it would make up for the repetitive gameplay

I love how any criticism against this series is immediately met with retaliation. Let me suck the game's dick some more before it's even come out.
well someone has personal problems
No not really he has a point.
Is the combat going to be actually challenging or is it going to be piss easy again.
He's a Pirate, but still an Assassin.
It's getting to be a bit stupid where they changed from being an Assassin to being a _______ Assassin!
