I would buy a PS3 if it came to it

Sounds like Co-op.
The two other characters in the game sound so calm despite being fired upon by a hand full of people. Unless what I'm seeing is coop and the others are people playing the game.
Needs PC or I guess I don't get to play it. They are not the character's voices I don't think, think the 4th wall was broken the entire play-through.
Looks great Realistically though... The level of detail in the level design cannot possibly be that thorough through the whole game. My guess is a smallish map, asshole player groups, and grinding by raiding the same locations over and over again. That kind of cooperative play looks great with friends, but the way that quadrotor guy came in out of the blue will probably just not happen ever
Oh man this is my kind of game. I will pick this up as soon as it comes out.
Saw it live, looks fucking amazing. Dem animations.
Looks like fun
How are people not realizing it was multiplayer from the start? Look at the HUD, it says one of the players is (AFK) Tablet. Unfortunately those vids don't also say it but before the gameplay started they said one of the people was in the back using his tablet for the game.
Yeah there's lots of comments on the youtube video as well of people saying "Woah the AI of those other 2 players is incredible and the voice acting is just so genuine" without realizing that it was actually real-time online play and those were real people
It's not just multiplayer, In the single-player campaign, the player must embroil themselves in a story that sees the player attempting to restore order through the completion of mainline quests in New York City. Along the way, the player can participate in sidequests to help citizens in need or dispatch gangs.. Open World doesn't have to mean multiplayer.
jesus christ this game
i need this in my life
I was wondering if those were real players or AI. i guess it's cause the gameplay was scripted it made it look that way, nonetheless this has EXTREME potential. i cant fucking wait.
Whats with developers scripting player interaction? Its always fucking awkward. The BF4 demo was the same way.
Whats with developers scripting player interaction? Its always fucking awkward. The BF4 demo was the same way.
my guess would be to show everyone the full capabilities of the game, if we watched a live multiplayer game(in bf4 for example) we'd probably just see some dude getting killed a bunch and maybe a few explosions. having an orchestrated game allows the full potential of the game to be displayed while keeping it interesting

Looks pretty next gen to me! Hope this game doesnt turn into another shitty APB MMO.
I'm assuming those circles with dots at the end are the "parties" . I'm curious about the city's back story on how all this came to be and what the Division is.
Judging from the sign on the Police Department, government has probably collapsed recently (which would also explain all the trash in the streets) and its up to whatever police is left and any militia a local area can create to sustain themselves.

yeah lets just slap tom clancys name on it
yeah lets just slap tom clancys name on it
i wanted to find a book that this game could have possibly been based on and can't find one sound's like it'd be an awesome read, clancy's books are awesome
It bugs me so much how they pretend what they're showing isn't staged. Like they're trying to act out what they intend for the real co-op to look like.
It's scarey the fact the stuff like Dark Winter and Directive 51 are real things.
i wanted to find a book that this game could have possibly been based on and can't find one sound's like it'd be an awesome read, clancy's books are awesome
It is not that it is based on a book by him, it is that he wrote the story for the game. I think Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell was like that
It bugs me so much how they pretend what they're showing isn't staged.
