I want to do one of these some day.
Seems like a lot of these are just completely shit on by how high up they put their weight and by having noses that stick into the ground or w/e. Otherwise, I'd love to do this some time.
Soapbox Derbies are great fun, I saw one or two back when I was in the boy scouts. Winning the race wasn't the primary objective for many, it was more about making a fun car to drive
I never knew I wanted a sport to be on TV all the time so much...
The wobbly bus was my favorite.
I'm so happy this is a sport, I'd love to make a soap-box derby car and do something like this, some of the crashes were pretty brutal though.

The first coffin car was very poetic
are those concrete roads?? some of those crashes look like they'd be pretty painful i mean, heck, even just falling off a bicycle can be pretty damn disastrous and these guys are tumbling around on their necks like it's nothing

Red Bull hosts a lot of these events in a lot of different cities over the course of the year. You can usually sign-up for their Flugtags with a team for a fee. [editline]3rd November 2017[/editline] Red Bull is an awesome company. They're not happy just sponsoring sporting events and extreme sports athletes, they go out of their way to host really awesome community events like these to give the average joe a chance to get out there and make it happen. Fantastic stuff.
There was a Red Bull race in my city where one driver almost got killed. (Around 7 min mark)
That VW bus had an insanely skilled driver.
That VW bus had an insanely skilled driver.
And a great showman, jumping out of that wreck like a winner. How old is the guy anyway?
how the fuck are these crashes not fatal every single time, if not for the driver, then for the people in the crowds like, HOW [T]https://i.imgur.com/YCVLDIx.jpg[/T] (i'm not angry, i'm just mostly confused and excited for these invincible humans)

3:15 "LET THAT BE A LESSON: DON'T" yea pretty much sums it up lmao
(i'm not angry, i'm just mostly confused and excited for these invincible humans)
I like that you felt the need to clarify you weren't furious about them surviving these crashes. Like you thought someone was going to misinterpret your post as a call for more bloodshed or something.
Dressing like Spongebob in a soapbox race is just asking for bad luck [editline]4th November 2017[/editline]
how the fuck are these crashes not fatal every single time, if not for the driver, then for the people in the crowds like, HOW [T]https://i.imgur.com/YCVLDIx.jpg[/T] (i'm not angry, i'm just mostly confused and excited for these invincible humans)
The soapbox cars aren't very heavy or very fast and the riders are wearing helmets.
3:10 hey look, its the dashcon ballpit
They're all true heroes.
I really want to make one of these. Would be a really fun way to put my education use
