A problem with comparing these two is that the girl is mostly asking guys who are alone, and the guy is mostly asking a group of girls. It's a lot easier to flat out say no when you're in a group.

I'm pretty sure the girls refuse only because they don't want to look easy.
The guy doesn't seem to be that good looking, and is wearing a t shirt and basketball shorts aka the most meh kind of clothing ever, while the girl is smoking hot and is wearing more "suggestive" clothing (can't find a less offensive word, but you know what I mean)
