I do believe Syndicate is a streamer. Streamers would never avoid events like this because it generates interest from viewers.
Besides, things like this are fun in a weird way. This barely happens to people, so it's definitely a good story you can tell or a good YouTube video you can post. I'd be laughing my ass off if this happened to me.

Its not. I have literally know the guy taking this dude hostage for a few years now. His name is TheGreatKhan, check my friends list. He was in a gaming community I did moderator work for a few years back. Then he made a return in a reboot of the previous community. Trust me he is just as insane everywhere else as he is in this video. He now plays Dayz and rp in arma 2 all the time and does shit like this constantly. I have done it with him a few times. So I can tell you its far from staged.

You'd be surprised dude. This one time in Gmod RP, a guy invited me over to his house because I was a cook selling/installing microwaves in people houses so they could get their own food, anyhow. Long story short, a guy with a Morgan Freeman esque voice tried to turn me into his sex slave and harvest my kidneys in his houses dungeon basement along with his mute sidekick who's basically a gimp so I had to commit suicide by jumping in the fireplace..

Me and a couple of friends in DayZ hid in a clinic closet down on the coast and started making very loud vulgar noises over the mic, and all sorts of fucked up things to go with it. This was the end result after about a good 10 minutes of grunts and groans.
