Man, why would TellTale ever NOT use an art filter?
Like, stuff like Game of Thrones and TftBL and Wolf Among Us looked great (wonky facial flexes aside) because they were able to cover up their budget models with stylistic filters.
Just going for pure CG makes it look like shit, it's painfully obvious TellTale is working with an engine that's over half a decade out of date. Maybe this will be their first tremendous bomb that motivates them to put in some actual work next time.

they just added shading and a tattoo but he's otherwise just a single blank color
and hey I can respect an artstyle, but they didn't add detailed the veins or marks and shit. He has perfect baby smooth skin.

to be fair, anything Minecraft is a money printer, I really dont blame them for making Minecraft Story Mode like that.
I'm almost certain that Walking Dead and TFTB were actually flukes and they have no idea how to make them work anymore
