this may be a little off-topic but whatever. I love Gggman and all, but whenever he whines about sjws for a bit I just groan. But a good video, nevertheless.

Have a link to that video?

I feel like his comment on how it gets boring and junk was kind of underhanded. He hastily brushed over the fact that they would be adding new content and doesnt seem to understand that this is Blizzard, they are no doubt going to be adding new content to keep players playing. That's how online competive games work nowadays! They keep themselves afloat with new content. New maps, heroes, skins, etc are no doubt going to be added to Ovserwatch within.. not even a couple of months. I won't be suprised if we get new things in a month or so. So I feel like his statement on 'do you see yourself playing this in six months' is a bit null with the fact that in six months theres no doubt going to be new content. Don't get me started on the 'Dem essjaydoubleus' comment, that was sort of dumb and thrown in.
can't agree more about the shallowness. I played heaps during the open beta and it was genuinely fun but I can't imagine buying it now and doing the same shit for a second more
I feel like his comment on how it gets boring and junk was kind of underhanded. The game doesn't really need revitalizing. People keep acting like it'll be boring in a month but I really doubt that.

I personally find the limited number of maps quite irritating. That and how everything gameplay wise boils down to escort cart or stand on point. There's very little variety.

It's a game where there's no set best team comps and you're encouraged to switch things up to combat the enemy in different ways.
Not a bad review. Honestly after playing more than 100 hours of Overwatch I'm a little frustrated with how the game plays out. I think at the core Overwatch can be super fun and very competitive but it's held back by the fact that it's having a hard time deciding if its FPS or a MOBA. Maps are super choke-point heavy and games become stalemates until someone has their ultimate ready. There needs to be more entrances and exits in all the maps as well as less blocked off areas inaccessible to certain characters. TF2's badlands is a great example of multiple entrances done right. You have the spire which leads to 4 separate entrances that every class can get to. Do other classes get up there faster? Of course. But it's the risk and reward aspect which matters here. Yes it'll take longer to get there, but at the sake of less danger/covert tactics. A lot of OW's maps are lacking for this reason and characters like Widowmaker become choke point behemoths because of how little the danger window is for them. It's a fun game to play in short spurts, but the meta is incredibly stale right now and the maps don't help it.
Holy fuck that's shallow. Have a link to that video?
Honestly that's being a bit too sensitive.
