The Washington Examiner and the Washington Post reported on Tuesday that the latest incident took place in an elevator during Obama's September 16 visit to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. The latest embarrassment for the Secret Service, which protects the president, comes after agency Director Julia Pierson took full responsibility for a September 19 breach of the White House. The Post said agents questioned the contractor and discovered his criminal history after he refused to stop video recording the president with a phone camera.
I fail to see the problem with this? What were the mans criminal convictions? Probably nothing major seeing as he got a job as a security contractor.
I fail to see the problem with this?

a violation of Secret Service security protocols
? Why did this security contracting firm employ people with a criminal history? Like, wouldn't rule #1 for them be don't employ that kind of people?
? ???
Yeah I guess that's bad, he wasn't getting Obamas good side
In an elevator huh? He should be arrested for recording vertical video, I hate when people do that.
Expected "Obama rides elevator with Dick Cheney"
Obviously a screwup of protocol, but not exactly an assassination attempt. Secret Service needs to get their shit together, but it doesn't sound like he was in any kind of actual danger.
Obama is such a dare-devil

Most places will hire people as long as they don't have felonies, and many places will hire people with felonies. They could also be adjudicated felonies which don't show up on employer background checks. Those will only appear when you try and register for voting or try and purchase a firearm.
