I can't believe whats going on there, I hope this war can end soon and the people can have better lives
Assad really just needs to fuck off
I don't understand how people can still support Assad. Not only allowing the use of incendiary mortar shells on civilians, but also using them on historic structures. The man is a monster.

Not only historic sites, but historic sites of his OWN country.
Is it me or do the rebels seem not only friendlier to the civlians but also to camera crews?
In my opinion, if a group is:
a) shown to be directing civilians away from the fighting
b) caring about the destruction of property (historic or otherwise)
and
c) allowing camera crews from out of the country follow them in battles, something that most professional militaries wouldn't allow.
then they are worthy of support.
With America backing out, NATO claiming no-jurisdiction, and China and Russia selling weapons to Assad, it looks like it's up to these gentlemen alone to take back their country.
I hope that is the story because it's a great one, and it's the first one in history we get to see directly.

The fact he was saying "don't take it personally" shows how well people are dealing with the situation even under such intense stress. We can only hope they get help from somewhere soon. Surprised they aren't using white phosphorus by now, they have done in Israel before.
