I was wondering if I should drink G2 before or after my workout instead of water. I heard that it is bad for you but I wanted to know what you guys think of it. Thanks
Isn't Gatorade only for hydration? Take that shit before/during/after workout whenever you're thirsty really, it's not a supplement as much as it's just a quick and little boost to hydration and energy because of the sugar so you can take it during your workout if you're thirsty. Gatorade is better to drink than water if you're running a triathlon, it's actually recommended and most of the time enforced at competitions. But after workouts you don't need it.
don't waste your time with expensive gatorade. get some cheap flavored still water (like, strawberry or something - though i suggest plain still water and some grenadine syrup) and add a tablespoon (filled flat, not with a bump) of salt to 2L of water there, gaytorade

yes, the little bit of salt rehydrates you faster. (sodium gets absorbed at first, then it gets regulated - but the absorbtion creates an osmotic gradient so water passes inside you) of course, if you drink 2L of super salty water in one sitting you might swole up like a balloon and that's not healthy lel and of course this is to hydrate you faster for a little while when you really need it, not that you'd want to drink salty marine water if stranded on a boat [editline]1st July 2013[/editline] cuz then you'd piss out the excess, leaving you dehydrated as fuck since marine water is supah salty
You should only drink Gatorade after an hour of sweating Or else you gon be fat
