LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) -- General Motors Co. GM -0.23% could face criminal charges connected to the recall of 1.6 million vehicles, Reuters reported Tuesday. The recall, caused by problems with the ignition and linked to 13 deaths, took place almost a decade after GM became aware of the issue. The criminal-liability probe by the U.S. attorney in Manhattan is still in the early stages, Reuters said, citing an unnamed source familiar with the investigation. The report of possible prosecution comes as Congress said Tuesday it plans to launch its own investigation into the recall.
short article so I quoted the whole thing.
This is shaping up to be a really big hit to GM..
Now that corporations are people, are they subject to seizure of property used in a felony? Seriously though, I wonder how this will be handled, they just straight up ignored a problem that was causing deaths.

No, I remember someone tried to incorporate himself and ride the carpool lane with his papers in the passenger seat. He went to court and the judge rules that Corporations are only People enough to donate money to campaigns and that's it.

Corporations have always been persons, that is the point of them.
