I don't see much hope in this personally. After the mediocre dated lady slap on how America sucks that was Iron Sky, I don't think I'll be as excited for this. I mean the trailer had me until the Reptilian hand appeared on the President, and Reptile Hitler on a Dinosaur came up. I was latterly taken aback from the sheer what of it. So much for Martian Commies.
nazi lizardmen. k.
Iron Sky was a decent movie, but I dunno about this "Secret german-jurassic utopia under the arctic" bit. Could be as good as the original with space nazis, but I dunno...
On a side note, at best, the original Iron Sky had amazing visuals, and this films has good visuals too, but there was alot of bad to the first movie. The Moon Nazis barely get much of an image, the actual invasion is only 15 minutes and they lose because of stupid reasons I'm not going to spoil. My major opinion of the first film in a simple sentence was: "I wanted Mars Attacks with Moon Nazis in Diesel Punk Space Zeppelins and UFOS, I got a cheap piece of anti American satire that was limp and dated."
I thought if there was ever going to be another Iron Sky it would be about Mars communists, If I remember correctly that's what they hinted at right at the end. what the hell happened?

It seems hinted that way via Reptilian Politicans.

But I still think it was a decent enough movie.

I swear, only The mother fucking Hellsing OVA series got the kickass Nazi Invasion done right. FUCKING LOOK AT THIS It took The east only one try from the west's two tries to do it right. The first being Iron Sky, the other being Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Yeah remember that one?
It's cool to see a hollow earth movie at least, I actually don't think I've ever seen that used before in fiction
It's cool to see a hollow earth movie at least, I actually don't think I've ever seen that used before in fiction
Well there was Journey to the Center of the Earth.
didn't anybody tell these guys that nearly 4 minutes is no longer a 'teaser'?
didn't anybody tell these guys that nearly 4 minutes is no longer a 'teaser'?
I dunno, nobody told Timo that "references" doesn't mean copy the whole scene from Downfall :v: [editline]7th November 2014[/editline] Or that Sarah Palin was no longer in Politics by the film's release.
Iron Sky had great potential but it was basically written by those who dwell in Sensationalist headlines which made it stupid.
Iron Sky had great potential but it was basically written by those who dwell in Sensationalist headlines which made it stupid.
I'd rather see a film written by SH regulars, at least they can make a fucking joke that's up to date [editline]7th November 2014[/editline] Also, funny
Was this written by a teenager? The last time I saw someone try to sound cool with "Nazis riding dinosaurs" was in a My Life Is Average post.

"Make history & pre-buy the film now" Are they taking fucking preorders? Also, this looks really shark jumpy, which is odd because I didn't think the first one was received well enough to have a shark to jump, they seem to be trying way too hard to top the over-the-top premise of the first.
this was really cringeworthy
I saw Iron Sky in limited release in theaters. Like everyone already stated, it was 95% jokes about Sarah Palin, Republicans, and how Nazis would react to modern day black people. I didn't care for it at all but everyone else in the theater seemed to love it. I won't even bother with this one.

It was crowd funded, and you know the old saying about crowd funding. You paid for this flaccid excuse of a movie, now you gotta sleep with it.
Iron Sky's first trailer was so serious in tone and looked like it was something with depth. What I instead watched was a huge flop of a joke. I expect no less from this.
I expect worse. Also I hear Finland really really hates America and that's why this film seems to hate America alot.
The director (or someone directly involved in the production) was at the showing and he parked his car sideways in a parking spot. Keep your corny ass movies out of my country Finland. Just kidding, American movies can suck too.
I for one, do not welcome our reptilian overlords

Nazi's survived WW2 and are now on the moon in which they plan a second invasion. Sounds cool and could be executed perfectly but exactly that they completely fucked up. Would be cool if this first movie was about the invasion of Earth and the second would be the rebellion uprise.
I loved Iron Sky. It really showed that it was produced by Germans though.
How did they get the money to make video games and more movies. This seems to have barely anything to do with the first Iron Sky either.
