I got shivers down my spine, this reminds me so much of my childhood :ohdear:
I never really watched Tintin that much when I was a kid, I mostly read the comics. I still recognise this theme though, thanks for the nostalgia trip. :buddy:
that show never appealed to me

your show never appealed to me
I remember this. So much memories...
this is belgian. i'm proud.
never heard about it till now :saddowns:
Almost every book that I had when I was younger that explained what a solar eclipse is references the time where Tintin scares a tribe with his ability to block out the sun.
I've seen the cartoons before but I've never heard this song.
I hope Hollywood don't make a real life movie of that.

Steven Spielberg didn't hear you.
Anyways, I've mostly read the comics, but vaguely remember the cartoon. I actually searched for episodes on Youtube and found the voice acting terrible...but I feel like going back anyways to watch 'em now...
Kuifje motherfucker

I loved the comic books. Entertaining, educational, deep, in other words everything right about comic books for kids.
Well, I'm not implying, Tintin is childrens stuff. Even as an adult, It is interesting to read them again from a more
mature perspective. They are filled with social criticism and political parody. You gotte love it.
But I never watched the animated show as a kid. I only saw one episode where they mashed up the events
of serveral comics into a two part episode.

Johnnyboy better use this theme for the movie.
Or else!
This does not bring nostalgia to me unfortunately.

They did that for time yes, but they never make up things or mess with the continuity. Except for that shark thing. Even the animations are pretty much just panels from the comics animated. It's astounding how true it stays to the comics. Quite a good show IMHO.
The fail voices only contribute to that. It goes well with the innocent tone of the the material I'd say. It wouldn't really be Tintin without that atmosphere.
