While I am against smoking, not being able to do it on your own backyard would be dumb.

I agree, You should only able to smoke on your own property.
I live in Suffolk and I've seen too many people not following regulations related to smoking outdoors in public places. Where I go to school I have to walk through a haze almost every time. They don't even regard the 50ft from Buildings rule anymore. it's nauseating. I know a few smokers and thankfully those selected few actually [I]follow[/I] the rules and are very courteous to others as well.
Good, People shouldn't have to breathe that shit when they are going by their favorite park.
I hate neighbors that smoke. I can't even leave my windows open during the day without smelling that shit while I'm inside my own house. Smoking should be banned, period.

When are people going to stop being uptight assholes? I don't wanna smell your disgusting cologne but I put up with it anyways, because people have some tolerance in a civilized society.
As long as you are not inside a building or on private property, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to smoke. It's just that a few people are crybabies.
Lol, I agree smoking is stupid (very stupid) but it should no biggie if people smoke outdoors..

Well, my father won't like this. He's a big smoker. He tries to quit, but it's really hard for him.
Good for the beach part, people don't have to cope with people smoking right next to 'em. I'm not sure about the park part, though, it's not like you don't have the room to step away from everyone to light a cig.
