wish it was pretzel bun instead
That looks tasty
I really hope he meant to pronounce brioche as rhyming with hockey, rather than rhyming with posh.
i never knew anyone pronounced brioche like this
i never knew anyone pronounced brioche like this
I think the ad is going for pseudo-sophisticated in a tongue in cheek sort of way.
i never knew anyone pronounced brioche like this
'cause its wrong, though the fact that he says it so much makes me think its meant to be that way so people talk about it.
To be honest, him saying it like that isn't funny for me, I just find it mildly annoying he can't say it properly.
its not a funny commercial but leave it to facepunch to take everything seriously
this ad made me very angry
I think the ad is going for pseudo-sophisticated in a tongue in cheek sort of way.
nah, it was an actual mistake. it was posted on the wendy's facebook page and they said it was a mistake or they were trolling their fans by saying "we'll look into it"
so its an issue because of a mispronunciation is that why someones getting fired i really dont understand this foreign stuff
Yeah they mispronounced it. If this were a perfect world the actual sandwiches you buy would look look half as good as the one advertised.
In my experience, Wendy's actually does have some alright looking sandwiches when you buy them, much better than any other fast food restaurant. It's also my favorite fast food place, considering those burgers are actually pretty damn tasty.
Yeah they mispronounced it. If this were a perfect world the actual sandwiches you buy would look look half as good as the one advertised.
No, they know how to pronounce it.
Well they apparently don't then :V They say brio-sh, every country I know of, including France where the bread originated from, says bri-osh (Hard o) Must be an American thing, as usual.
If this were a perfect world the actual sandwiches you buy would look look half as good as the one advertised.
The food they advertise is technically the same food they serve otherwise it'd be false advertising; they just fiddle with it to hell to make it look 10x more delicious than it really is. The burger is usually extremely undercooked but just enough to brown the outside so it looks plump and juicy, the relish/chhes is very carefully positioned and the guns are glazed over. They also just generally use a bunch more techniques to make it look bigger and meatier than it really is, then to top it off they do loads of minor alterations to it with photoshop to make it look perfect. They hire food stylists to do this and they spend several hours doing photoshoots to get the perfect burger look.
That looks tasty
Lol ain't gonna look like that when you order it for real. WELCOME TO THE JOKE
The joke seems pretty blatant to me honestly. Though i can see why some people missed it. Brioche isn't exactly a common word you hear everyday.
Must be an American thing, as usual.
well its better than when they say Jalapeño as Ha-la-pee-know
That looks tasty
No it doesn't That is a sandwich of death for me, allergic to them shrooms.
Chipoodle.

Someone is getting a promotion for this viral ad
Someone is getting a promotion for this viral ad
I certainly will be trying it next time I go to wendy's. I don't mind ads, just mind boring ones which don't engage me.
