I still remember there were even plug and play DDR mats that went straight into your tv and played MIDI tunes. playing DDR put you easily on the top of the food chain everywhere you went.
Also less DDR machines at any surviving Arcade in the west, at least USA, so I cant show off my "Healing Vision V5 XX" Skills. Or Max 300.
I honestly can't think of a working DDR machine I've seen in the last decade aside from an imported one rented out for a convention, which is a shame because it was really fun. It got me into a bit of a rhythm game kick that had to pretty much be sated with just osu! and Vib-Ribbon because neither of my local arcades have any Bemani cabinets.
95% sure we have that MadCatz thing somewhere. No wonder I never really got into rhythm games.
that ending was really unexpected when he was listing out names. i have no idea why i laughed so hard at that.
