I know how he says he wants to get into voice acting, but to be fairly honest, I don't see much in his voice that makes it.. Want to be heard in a commercial, or anything of the sort.

Well, to be fair, he always talks with a really monotone voice in his videos, and that's part of what I think makes it hilarious.

Uhh how so? At the beginning (well after the Call of Duty tips videos) he just did gameplay and commentary of video games in a monotonous voice and made puns and said silly things.
Nowadays he makes gameplay and commentary videos of video games in a monotonous voice and makes puns and says silly things + he dubs commercials and shit but that doesn't detract from his video game stuff.
Yeah, if anything recently he's become a much better Youtuber to watch now that he dubs over lots of weird different things. I lost my mind with this video:
