On the prowl for a new vehicle. Looking for something small, with decent utility, and not horrible on gas. I was thinking something like a little hatchback.
Or maybe I should just get a ~2006 mazdaspeed 6 and be happy.

What's your budget?
I'm wanting to buy some Comp Cams valve springs, but I can only find them in a set of 16. Where can I get this kind of stuff in a set of 8?
Competition Cams 26995-16
What's your budget?
~5000
~5000
Mazdaspeed 3 is probably your best option for that price range. You could look into a Ford Focus if you really want, but you'd be getting one from when Ford sucks.

Do you care how old? :v:
Do you care how old? :v:
Depends on whether or not it'll end up with more problems than its worth.
I don't care if its old, I do care if its unreliable as fuck.
That new thread smell. Anyways
I have to thank slayer for helping me out a lot. Trust me, I've checked yards, I've only found 1 hood and two bumpers, 1 was eh, the other was a ricy aftermarket bumper. The hood didn't look all that great either and for the 150$ tag, I might as well get a new one anyways, I kind of want a aftermarket hood but I just can't find one that would look good. Or at least in my own opinion. I just want this car out of my dirveway...legally ;-; I drove it around the block two times and it was so much fun.
Civic? Integra?

Utility? Only things I haven't been able to fit through the hatch was an interstate sized speed 55 sign and a hood. There's been everything from desks to tall narrow bookshelves in this car. I've even hauled house doors in my Civic.
Integras are pretty great and you can sometimes find really nice ones for cheap, won't beat a Mazdaspeed6 though which are pretty good.
I have to say, I miss my 95 integra, first car when I was 16, I loved it. Went from St,louis to houston on a single tank of gas. I had so many heating problems with it. Hoses, thermostat, then the headgasket went, fixed all of that, then it started to overheat again and I sold it. Ah. Was a fun car though! Cheap to fix, was the loudest car I've ever heard...I had to say, it was a blast driving it.

Yeah unfortunately Honda body panels are right on that edge of being too expensive but still acceptably priced. You'll be happier with an RDOT part anyways, they always fit flawlessly unlike the cheap ass garbage knockoff "aftermarket" replacements. I've never seen a aftermarket bumper cover that fits right. Fenders/hoods should be fine though but they don't make them anyways.
Got my coilovers off and stock suspension put back on today. My car feels so unfamiliar to me now.

Get a 1990-'93 Dodge Daytona. Do it. 2.5L non-turbo or turbo, with the 5 speed. You'll get about 30MPG and it's hatch. I fucking dare you to try and kill the 2.5L. I would like to see you try.
You can pick them up from $1000-5000. Depending on what all you want on it. You can get options like, Shelby Edition, T-tops, and other shit. Stock block will do 300HP no problem. And can take a lot more with some relatively cheap parts.
Here's on at 37psi on stock bottom. Lol.

What the hell do you do to your Charger. Lol. Other than my TC being a piece of shit, mine runs awesome.
I was making a joke about by car.
For those missing the really old AA subforum thread; my car had a dropped cyl 2 when I bought it and I didn't know it. Ended up it burnt an intake valve and had a warped head as well as spun bearing because the dipshit who owned it before me thought 10w-30 and coconut oil were interchangeable.
Also, keep in mind too, that you and I have the same tranny, but different engines and rear-ends.
You have the 3.5L with the NAG1? How's the NAG1 been treating you? I'm starting to really hate it.
I personally love the NAG1. (The Nag1 is used in the AWD. It's the only way from the factory a v6 gets the NAG1 in any of Chrysler's platforms) The way it's geared is perfect for the lower torque of the 3.5. But it also is combined with a 4.10 rear with a 4.11 1st/reverse gear which makes first gear quite nice for starting.
So I saw a group of like 10 mustangs rolling on the freeway yesterday. Managed to get a couple of rolling shots of them.

I was listening real closely to that ticking sound today and it seems like it's coming from a big box labeled 'airbag diagnostic module.' However I pulled the fuse for my airbag and still got the ticking sound when I turned the keys. Can this be possible or does it mean it's not the module?
Can you reach the plug to unplug it?
Can you reach the plug to unplug it?
There's two plugs that plug into it, I suppose I could reach them. But there's some warning tag on those wires I'd want to read again and I get sketched by airbags in general so I haven't tried unplugging them. It would be great troubleshooting though.

Oh just fuck me with a pointy stick
Bastard nozzle tip is stuck in the head like the damn sword in the stone.

This didnt work, it just blew the nozzle guts out and left the threaded jacket.

Back in the day, when I was taking off my dash on my Cavalier, both airbags were accessible. Just disconnect the cables with the car turned to off and you should be fine.
oh no. what a fucking shame :C

Stance is like an ugly teenage phase some sports cars have to go through. Hopefully they'll grow out of it one day before too much damage is done.
It's a whole new world with this new truck. I'm looking at getting a tuner, CAI, weathertech floormats, a tunneau cover, a leveling kit, and some offroad tires.
I'm also trying to figure out how I'm going to get some subs in there. I would like to go with 2 12s under the back seat, but I may go with 1 12 or something like that. As long as it's ported, I'll be happy. I'm probably going to have to go with a line level output converter setup wired to my two rear speakers because I'm pretty sure the factory MyFordTouch in-dash/nav unit does not have RCA outs.
