So, just a little bit under 6 hours ago when heading off to bed, I grabbed some sleeping pills (3) that a friend had given me along with a slur of other prescriptions. Anyways, I took them and started typing on notepad, which luckily I ended up saving, where the screen was suposedly a swing? And I do remember where if I looked up at the screen, then down at the keyboard it felt like I was swinging or something. Anyways. I decided I need to go to bed, so I go to lay down and when I do lay own on the bed I feel like I'm in an airplane. I can't describe how, since I can't remember anything after the typing but it felt just like an airplane and it was awesome. Till I hurled chunks. When I say hurled chunks, I MEAN hurled chunks. I projectiled all over my bead and onto the floor. Terrible clean up and just one of the weirdest experiences ever.
And thinking back on it, that wasn't a really large dose, so I don't honestly think it was a high. Maybe just a strange encounter.
Ok
Drugs
what did you type on the notepad? if it's funny post it.
Do you know what the pills were? As far as I know, Ambien can be effective in even regular doses if you don't go to sleep relatively quickly, not sure about the vomiting though
What were the other things you took too.

Just three sleeping pills, more than likely Ambien. But never again will I touch the stuff :S
Nick Nack? That's my nickname!
Anyways, you probably just took a little too much, got high, then nauseous, and threw up.
Ambien is pretty fucked up, take too many and you have extreme short term memory, making time fly by extremely fast. Some interesting visual distortions and a very weird sense of reality are present at lower doses.
Even at a low prescribed dose, fighting the sleeping effect of the pill will cause things to become a little bit fucked up.
And 3 isn't exactly a low prescribed dose as far as I know.
Edit -
"The recommended dose for adults is 10 mg once daily immediately before bedtime. The total Ambien dose should not exceed 10 mg per day." - And I don't think they make pills smaller than 5mg.
I don't know why this thread reminded me of this but i'm going to post it anyway. Back when i was college I was doing a physics exam, and randomly i got this intense pain in my ears and I suddenly went really dizzy. Do you know when you get really drunk and you get the spins? It was like that but even worse. I almost fell out of my chair it was that bad.
To this day, I have no idea why the fuck that happened.

You probably had some fluid in your ears. When you get drunk and get the spins it's because the pressure of the fluids in your ear decreases(IIRC). Anything that fucks with the ear fucks up your balance.

I had a feeling it was something to do with that, but the confusing thing is it's only happened once completely out of the blue and it's never happened again

Something similar happened to me but I didn't have any ear pain at all. I just got really dizzy in the middle of a class and like 5 minutes after I was alright.
