So lol, I was surfing the internets checking for what special herbs and shit I could find outsides my door and I started reading about this yellow flower. Apperently, its good against smaller depressions, and when I read that I was all "HMM LETS SAY IM DEPRESSED THEN" and when I found out that it DOES grow in my country. And I was happyface until it hit me; If I get some of that, how the hell would I use it? Any help pls?
Just shred the foliage up and make tea out of it. They sell capsules at a lot of stores, it would be easier to go buy it.
It's pointless
I have a bottle of about 40 of those capsules. They're nothing special.

You can smoke green tea and eating them also works against mild depressions so if the situation is that you are depressed then green tea is your best bet. You can simply buy green tea tea bags which each contains 2 grams of green tea leaves - then put them in boiling water - and drink it. Optimal daily dosage is 2 grams 2-3 times daily. When you drink it you get amount of polyphenols that you need against depression. Another way is to simply watch comedy TV series like carol burnett dvd but if you combine both methods - greeen tea - and fun entertainment then you get the best effect. Green tea also protects your body against damage from being high. There are many different flavors of green tea and you should look for one with low caffeine. The flavors vary a lot so find one you like.
St Johns wart takes like 3 months of daily use to even have a slight effect, you're better going to a doctor and getting prozac or some shit
I don't think prozac is any better idea. St Johns wart is MAOI while prozac is SSRI. Both are dangerious but MAOI don't have withdrawal.
meh, the only thing that happened to me when I took it was a headache.
Use it to potentiate shrooms.
Ive got a bag of about 400 pills, and a jar somewhere with even more in. Used to use it as an antidepressant without the hassle of doctors and messing up my income with "dissability" came off it a while ago and felt alot better. For the effort needed to get any effect, and the ammount of effect gained. against the miserable feeling i had (i would say miserable, just so blank) it isnt worth it at all.

I noticed subtle differences after 2 weeks of use but then stopped as they were rather expensive. Zoloft was more fucked up. Interesting what you said about MAOI's. Surely they're still increasing levels of Serotonin, just doing it a different way. Why's there not withdrawal? Also, MAOI's basically means you can't have any drug, not even caffeine as it can amplify effects of everything unknowingly.
MAOI breaks down enzymes that break down serotonin, dopamine, norephedrine. When you stop taking MAOIs, enzymes don't suddenly become active, they slowly regenerate. Also depends on MAOI, some just temporary block enzyme, some permanently destroy enzyme. SSRI blocks transport canals in cells of your brain, so when you stop, SSRI stops actioning and transport canals become ultra-active.
MAOIs can be dangerous due to the the vast variety of drugs and food that they negatively react with. Thats one of the reasons we mostly use SSRIs now. As for St. John's Wort, it sucks and doesn't do anything cool.
