DC Can't make a good movie to save their lives? I'm SHOCKED.
You mean the company that made an awful Superman movie, a godawful Superman/Batman crossover and an awful Suicide Squad movie are also making an awful Justice League movie? Wow, what a surprise, totally didn't see that coming.
[snip] wrong thread.
man, don't even need to watch the video that costume design on the thumbnail tells you all you need to know
DC Can't make a good movie to save their lives? I'm SHOCKED.
Some people think this time will be the charm. Some people even deluded themselves into thinking that the previous stinkers were good movies. Some people hope that with relative failure of BvS Snyder will be kept in check and the movie won't be as bad. I'm not shocked that this movie along with WW is shaping up to be a disaster but I would really love to watch a good DC movie that isn't Batman or ~30 years old. Their comics have been great since Rebirth.

I'd say they take it wayyyy too seriously with the gritty and dark tones and that's something that might start at the executive level which despite all the talent they can rotate in and out to fix it isn't going to help.
WB should just stay away from live action DC movies and try and bring back 2D animation to the big screen. Their animated stuff tend to be way better than the live action stuff and it would be a nice change of pace from all the comic movies we've gotten and are going to continue getting these coming years.

Why. noooo. Honestly the first solution is get Snyder way the fuck away from DC Also why can't they be as good at making live action movies as they are at Animated.

Batman: Bad Blood has Batman killing people and using a gun.
DC Can't make a good movie to save their lives? I'm SHOCKED.
Dunno what the problem is. The CW is making better stuff for TV.
Their animated shit has been a dumpster fire recently as well. Batman: Bad Blood has Batman killing people and using a gun.
Yeah but there was a reason for that, it wasn't just the writers not knowing shit about batman. I haven't seen it recently but I remember it was Batwoman using a gun and I don't remember her using it to kill people. The real dumpster fire is The Killing Joke. The first 30 minutes of that was just absolutely awful and a terrible idea and the rest of it was just underwhelming
Going by the supposed leaked plot, the film seems pretty straightforward and overall simple, dunno why they can't get their shit together.
Why. noooo. When you start plugging in numbers, doing things by the book and trying to get people to like your film you're end up with a poorer quality product. Did Jeb bush make it?
Dunno what the problem is. The CW is making better stuff for TV.
I wasn't sure which of the superhero shows were made by The CW, so I looked it up. It was the awful ones like I expected. And I still enjoyed those more than any of the DC comic movies, but that's like saying I enjoy stabbing a clean nail into my eye instead of a rusty nail.
Did Jeb bush make it?
Justice League reportedly "A WASTE", "A BIG, FAT MISTAKE"
i see the anti-dc bandwagon is active again
i know it's tough, but we live in an awful awful world where people don't always like what we like. it's horrible. i cry every time
i see the anti-dc bandwagon is active again
it's not a bandwagon if a lot of people genuinely think DC has dropped the ball big-time and consistently with the movies they have WB make nowadays
i see the anti-dc bandwagon is active again
While I'm not immediately dismissing of WB's products I think they can do better.
Justice League reportedly "A WASTE", "A BIG, FAT MISTAKE"
SAD!
DC Can't make a good movie to save their lives? I'm SHOCKED.
I think it's less DC and more WB. WB are just utterly incompetent on every level, from the directors they hire (why would you hire Zack Snyder, a man who has produced multiple shit films that also sold like shit) to their actor casting (Jesse Eisenberg as fucking Lex Luthor). They did the same with the Wachowskis, letting them make shit film after shit film just because they made the Matrix, they're just bad at organising film production in general
the trailers looked horrible
i see the anti-dc bandwagon is active again
If we don't demand better out of the products we consume, how can they become a better producer?
I don't even know where to start with all the problems of DCU.
I do. Namely the fact that they can't make a story without gaping holes in it.
Their animated shit has been a dumpster fire recently as well. Batman: Bad Blood has Batman killing people and using a gun.
ahem
I feel bad for Ben Affleck. He's makes a good Batman but he just can't save the shitfest that is the writing.
I feel bad for Ben Affleck. He's makes a good Batman but he just can't save the shitfest that is the writing.
He's the lead actor for the script he wrote and directing it as well for the solo Batman movie. Hopefully WB can scrape by to even get to that point.
