IN YEAR TWO THOUSAND AND TWELVE: SOVIET SURVIVORS DRINK VODKA IN REFUGES AND SHOOT FROM KALASHIKOV IN MANY MUTATED SOVIET BEARS
Reminds me of the metro series

I am lazy so I will make it short
The cold war ended in 1962, leaving most of the Earth as a nuclear wasteland
In 50 years, 2012, the underground Vaults turned into small "countries" and try to survive while fighting each other
You are playing as a pilot who bombed the US
Thats about it
It's like someone took Metro 2033 and made it into a cinematic from 1999.

It seems to be a mix of Metro2033 (Small "countries") and Fallout (Everything else)
Seems bad

Hey, you gotta give the Russian game studios credit though, all they have to work with is old Soviet computers from 1980 that run on Vodka.
The best Russian games are Space Rangers Series (and King's Bounty from same guys) and Tetris
Rest of it is complete shit.
Why are Russian developers so fixated on post-apocalyptic?
You know there's more to life and human experience than the complete destruction of it...

I imagine it's because Russia already looks much like an apocalypse has gone through it.
In all do seriousness though, why do you think every modern shooter is fixated on "Russia invades America" Let's face it, in the minds of many people, the Cold War is still going on and so everybody wants to have an alternate history wank. The difference is the US games always take place during the war, while Russian games take place after it.
Reminds me of the metro series
to be honest it seems like a rip off

It is
I just put Ukranians and Russians together because I lived in both countries and basically see them as one
So yeah, nevermind

Ukrainians, Like Poles, are generally considered their own ethnicity and are only called "Russians" because the Russian Empire ruled over both. Now they have their own countries and are sadly not much better off.

Because Russians + Ukrainians + Belorussians = Slavic. I happen to be one that is ethnically Ukrainian (born in Latvia). I consider myself Russian.
Exactly, people also forget that romanians are latin people as italians, french and spanish people

Yeah, but calling Ukranians Russians is a surefire way to get a fist to the face, is it not?

Not really
Half of my family lives in Ukraine and they think of themselves as of Russians
It depends on the person asked, everyone has different opinions
