Pinkerton.
Pinkerton is by far Weezer's most emotional album, first rejected, now a cult classic. It is full of lyrics sinking deep into the heart and soul of the band. Unlike the direction the band has taken now, Pinkerton wasn't trying to appeal to a certain age, it was just expressing the emotions of some many individuals like Weezer who were searching for a purpose. I thought it was time it was shared on Facepunch so that it can open peoples eyes and their hearts to a new genre of great music.

Hmmm. i made a general Weezer thread, but i had yet to see one over an album in specific.
this is the best weezer album. this and the blue album, the others...............not so much
Butterfly is the only song that has actually made me cry.
This album is literally art. It's beautiful.
I love El Scorcho, it's such a catchy song!
I'm probably the only one who loves this album, but can't stand Butterfly.
It's angsty, it's raw, it's powerful, and it's pathetic.
It's an absolute masterpiece.
Best album ever. However it should be noted that a lot of the album is the frontman's venting, Rivers Cuomo, not the whole band itself.
1. Pinkerton
2. Blue
3. Green
etc.
100. Raditude
best weezer album by far
Was it just me or was The Red Album a letdown?
It was better than Make Believe.
I disagree. I wasn't a massive fan of the Red Album.
but Make Believe sucked
