Hello fellow facepunchers!
This Christmas I got a Ukulele, I think it's a sopranukulele (the small one), I really want to learn to play this instrument, but I have none experience. So I wonder if you guys got any useful tips. I also guess it's many helpful videos on youtube. Does anyone know about a good video taking care of the basics of ukulele playing?
Ukuleles are guitars, casinos are guitars, GD is erupting into MADNESS
You want us to give you tips on playing the ukulele?
Good luck.
My friend from school is insane at the ukelele.
That is all.
Ukuleles are badass.
Hopefully that you should be enough motivation to learn to play it.
Since they are pretty badass.

If you want simple stuff that sounds good you could always just use power chords.
guitars are better.
Aw hell yes, I actually have a ukulele back at home. The music it makes sounds like pure sex.
How much does an average ukulele cost? I just looked some up now and the prices look a hell of a lot less than I thought they would be...
I might buy a ukulele and try and teach myself to play.
I can't play any instruments nor read music. Is this a good idea?

Hell yeah
My friend I knew in high school could play it really well. Then again, he was very Hawaiian.

Reading music is easy to learn, so I don't see why not.

Ukuleles aren't tuned the same as guitars.

I built this one in the summer, took about 3 hours, half the parts came from a kit. It's terrible.

Real men play guitars. Anyone who disagrees is a nerd who wants to pretend to be a bard from the middle ages.
