I come from the great land of Tea and I can confirm this is how everyone acts.
Did he died?
I come from the midlands and I can confirm this is not how people act where I live.

I come from the midlands too, and I can confirm that this is exactly how people act where I live.
Probably the only missing thing was the guy behind the camera saying "Duck" every twenty fucking seconds.
I really want to know how this turned out.
I love how we use actual red tape.
Were they afraid he was trying to commit suicide or something? Why are people giving so many fucks?
England is magical

Can the title be changed to 'London in a nutshell'?
Everything that happens there is treated as though an explosive device is involved, which explains the cordon. That's why you can't find any bins in Central London.
I was in that part of Trafalgar Square last month and recorded this :v:

I Can confirm this I how emergency services react in Southern England.
Recently the UK has had serious problem with dreaded badgers after several months of strenuous debating they agreed to a badger cull.
At a cost of roughly £4000 per badger killed - How on earth does a bullet to a badger cost £4000!!!

Does Britain have some equivalent to U.S. rednecks they can just hire to get rid of badgers?

We do, but they're currently fighting for independence.

I don't get why you guys had so much controversy over that. Personally, I think badgers should be killed as a matter of principle.

Cause bullets are disgusting and evil and banned, the badgers need to go to badger jail and be rehabilitated to integrate into society.
What if he was just loitering there and decided to keep it going when the police turned up?
Loitering is punishable by death in the UK. If you rewatch the video you can see police snipers on the surrounding buildings.

The shooters hired were grossly incompetent, the majority of badgers took well over 5 minutes to die, which is inhumane, and the cull itself was only done because of farmers claiming their cattle were having increased rates of bovine TB, and I am pretty sure the statistics haven't even shown a decreased rate yet.
The BVA thinks that the cull is pointless as cattle control based measures are vastly more effective, and vaccination of the badgers is possible too. The badgers aren't actually doing anything harmful, other than marking areas with urine, and of that, only 4-6% of badgers have a risk of passing on TB.
I'd take the experience of vets and whatever than animal form of an epidemiologist is into account when making up my mind, since they've got research and microbiology understanding, rather than farmers who have a vested interest in making a different party (the hunters and government) try to reduce the problem, rather than taking more effective steps themselves. Same reason I take the word of an NHS epidemiologist over a woo selling homeopathic medicine. One is in it for money, the other is a trained professional who understands the topic.

I can't believe he kept his cool for so long.
I definitely wouldn't be able to keep calm like that.
I'm from England and this guy's voice is just so great for describing the situation, it's like something out of a children's book :v:
'elf and safety innit.
