When I stumbled today upon this little thing, I almost shed a tear. To think, it was 7 years ago. I begin to imagine all the feels older gamers get when looking back at their golden times
I'm really amazed that this is still going so strong for a game released about 10 years ago.
What a blast from the past.
Ah, back when Death Knights didn't exist.
Better times.
"new dances" hahaha oh man that brings me back
Man I fucking loved Wrath of the Lich King. Thanks for sharing.
And then everyone called you out for rolling DK
"Death Knoob"
Good times.

Weren't they really op at the start though? Unless I'm mistaken they could do shit like turn over time heals into dots and self resurrect as a ghoul for a short bit after death.

Isn't that how all the plate mail classes work? :v:
"New Dances" Still waiting.
I loved WotLK, most atmospheric expansion by a mile for me.
ulduar still the best raid blizzard's ever done
Dalaran was and always will be the coolest city.
This is what i want from a new MMO. The ability to bring me the sheer joy and ecstasy that came from the announcement of the expansion alone. I just don't have near that same excitement for any of the new content, and i haven't had any MMOs similar that have had the same effect as the early WoW stuff.
I want a game to make me feel like the crowd felt during this:

I haven't seen any crowd reactions towards a game (that isn't a LoL tournament or some shit) like that since the early 2000s

Eh, as long as you can a few disarms on your team, they can actually be shut down pretty effectively.
Even a silence is effective since like half of their abilities apparently count as spells.
They're removing disarms in WoD though, and changing a lot of other shit, so I'm probably going to do Holy Pala+DK with a dude and murder people, since roots and slows will be the only way to stop a DK in WoD, and I'll just Freedom him, assuming Freedom doesn't get taken away.
WOTLK was my favorite expansion.
It was just so atmospheric.

Death Knights at release were fucking absurd

It had a great soundtrack, who didn't love going to Grizzly Hills just for that serene music

It's like you read my mind.

Oh, how did I love Wrath of the Lich King, it had Ulduar, what I believe was and still is the best raid in WoW, an amazing soundtrack, and a great story that spanned the leveling experience and advanced into the end game content as Arthes keeps taunting you throughout.
It's kind of why I'm very excited for Warlods of Draenor, it looks to be as atmospheric as WotLK was, something I didn't feel for both Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria, expansions I wasn't excited for.
i remember the event running up to WOTLK release where it was basically a zombie apocalypse the best part of it was all the butt-hurt players who were bitching about having there servers go pvp for a few weeks
Ahhh shit this brings back memories, i'm actually still playing WoW to this day
Vanilla players represent!

Am I doing this right?
I wish i was apart of these gaming communities. Like WoW, Playstation, Sega, i never played those games or systems. But i enjoy reading other people talking about them oddly enough.
