No Hitman: Blood money?
oh, wow, daikatana, that's totally a game i want to own yes please i wish to be John Romero's bitch.
I'd be embarrassed to end up with a copy of DX: Invisible War, let alone The Fall. Thankfully I already own most of that pack.
Bought it for Daikatana. Already own the terrible N64 version, want to see if the PC version is any better.
I never quite fully understood what was the deal with these humble bumbles.
Daikatana, yeah that's a must-have title for sure.

you get games, charity gets money
There are so many things wrong with this bundle.
The below-average row is garbage tier. Three of the games are legitimately good, they are however completely obscured by superior sequels (the original thief gets shat all over by thief 2, hitman 1 and 2 aren't nearly as good as blood money) and it's pretty clear they're planning on adding these games later to the above average list, to fuck with people.
The first above-average row has a godawful spinoff, a godawful sequel, and a disappointing sequel.
The second above average row is a fucking joke. THE FIRST FUCKING DEUS EX FOR 12 BUCKS. The game is worth 7 bucks on steam right now. Also Kane & Lynch 2 is garbage, Deus Ex Director's cut is on sale for 4 bucks on steam right now, and Just Cause basically goes on sale for a literally dollar every month.
You could literally just wait for the winter sales and get all of the good or at least decent games in this bundle for like 7 dollars max. Most of these titles regularly go on sale for 2 bucks, and a good portion is throwaway garbage games.
Of course that's not counting the fact you may simply want to buy this to give money to charity but as far as games go this is a pretty raw deal.
No Blood Money? What bullshit.
No Blood Money? What bullshit.
They'll either add it later as an above average bonus in hope that the average will have climbed in price by now or they won't sell it at all and people will have to buy the game on the side like Origin did with dead space 2 in their own bundle.
This is terrible.
Why the fuck is Invisible War on there? Have fun trying to get that piece of shit working modern systems. It doesn't even work for windows 7. It won't even load text most of the time. Even if you do get it running, expect it to crash within 5 minutes.
Also, Midway...Really? It's a good game but...the sequel is already on steam and is much better.
no HR or DX1
it's like they picked the worst ones on purpose
edit: oh its in the 15 dollar bundle
didn't see that

the humble part is where you donate to charity . jpg

I own Invisible War on Steam.
I once installed the game and tried to launch it to see if it was really that bad, and Malware Bytes immediately popped up and warned me that launching the Invisible War exe could possibly contain malicious files, and may harm my computer.
I took it as a sign from Gabe himself and never touched it again.
6 Dollars for a bunch of games, and the rest goes to charity.
I really don't understand why people complain.
the humble part is where you donate to charity . jpg
I literally said this is only about the games you get and not charity. If you wanna give 15 bucks to charity then good on you, but most of the games you'll get are shite.
the humble part is where you donate to charity . jpg
They should actually make it a decent deal if they want to give money to charity.
I mean yeah the first tier is incredibly good value, but top tier is simply poor considering their past bundles which made several hundred thousand dollars.

We're customers, we have a right to complain.
Got it mainly for Hitman 2. I had it on xbox years ago, so paying the small amount to replay it seems worth it.
No Hitman: Blood money?
Maybe they realized more recognition for BM would make Absolution look really really bad?

I'd probably pay 15 bucks just for these two games. I don't see why people are complaining, It's a bunch of highly rated games in GOTY format.
kane and lynch 1 was such a horribly shit game imho but I don't know about 2
Mini Ninjas is actually a decent game, I'm pretty surprised its part of a bundle.

It's cheap for the whole package, but the way they evened out their tiers is pretty awful. Dues Ex should be in Tier 1, Just Cause 2 should not be limited to the high tier. I could go on. The good titles, the bad titles, and the overly cheap titles are just in a random, weird order.
I'd probably pay 15 bucks just for these two games. I don't see why people are complaining, It's a bunch of highly rated games in GOTY format.
It's a bunch of highly rated games in GOTY format that are between 3 and 16 years old, and that all go on sale for like 3 bucks each every two or three months. Human Revolution is on sale for 4 bucks literally right now.
It's really the way they're ordered that bothers me. Deus Ex GOTY is literally priced higher than Hitman Absolution, a game that was released not even two years ago. Not to mention, the $15 tier is not gonna fluctuate in price - this is Square Enix's own pricetag, set on games that are either old or just shit (what the fuck is Kane & Lynch 2 doing here, are they seriously trying to make it look like this game is worth 15 bucks).
If you want to donate to charity.. why not just donate directly instead of bothering with this humble bundle crap?
because $25 donated directly and $25 donated via the bundle is no different in the end, and as a bonus incentive you happen to get some video games. Just because you happen to receive something doesn't automatically make this a consumer-provider relationship - I donated blood and got a cookie at the end. This doesn't mean that I paid for the cookie with my blood, nor does it mean that I should have sought out another venue of blood donation without bothering with this cookie crap
Where the fuck is Tomb Raider?

i dont think it matters when the money is for charity.

When you forgive its shortcomings compared to its predecessor, Invisible War is actually pretty fun.
