Bernie Sanders got testy with front-runner Hillary Clinton at Thursday’s Democratic debate during an exchange trade policies and the 2009 auto industry bailout when Clinton attempted to interrupt him. “Excuse me, I’m talking,” he fired back at Clinton, in a moment that was the second-most discussed on Twitter of the debate. As the presidential primary has gone on, debates between Sanders and Clinton have gotten increasingly prickly, with the Vermont Senator often casting side-eye or waving his hands at her remarks—moments that some Clinton supporters saw as derogatory or even sexist
:suicide:
Can we make a rule that "twitter posts from random idiots don't count as news" Not just for Facepunch but for all of the news media
Maybe if Hillary wasn't taking cues from the Republican debates Sanders wouldn't have to "interrupt her", nevermind he's the one being interrupted.
On a stage where they are equals, one woman is more equal than the others.
Can we make a rule that "twitter posts from random idiots don't count as news" Not just for Facepunch but for all of the news media

that was the second-most discussed on Twitter of the debate.
Kinda a big deal considering how large a role Twitter plays now. These twitter trends represent real world trends and what people actually think.
I'm more inclined to believe that assuming a man is sexist because he happens to gets frustrated with a woman, is more sexist than the possibility that he interrupted her "because shes a woman." Every other jackoff on twitter commenting on their assumptions of his actions makes the simplest smallest little shit like this amplified in to a bigger deal than it ever needs to be. I mean for fucks sake, this is what we are deluded enough to believe needs to be focused on?? Not like actual, serious sexism and prejudice that exists in this world? Not the fucking issues these candidates are debating about???
Congratulations to all the champagne social justice warriors making the word sexist meaningless. What's next? Would it be sexist for Bernie Sanders to complain if Hillary Clinton was physically attacking him?
called Sexist for Interrupting Clinton

when Clinton attempted to interrupt him.
??? I'm surprised this is a big deal more than anything. Compared to what's been going on with the Republican debates, this is literally nothing.
Vagina Privilege Being a cunt, acting like you're the victim, and then having a legion of unfuckables rush to your aid on social media.
Kinda a big deal considering how large a role Twitter plays now. These twitter trends represent real world trends and what people actually think.
Dunning-Kruger effect.
Dunning-Kruger effect.
I'm an idiot? I think that statement stands true. A huge amount of Americans use twitter and if something trends on twitter its probably trending in reality.
???
Bernie is in trouble for interrupting Clinton who had interrupted him first.
This PC culture/Feminism/whatever stuff is so superficial. You can agree with them as much as you want, but as long as you're a straight white male (and an old one for that matter), you won't get their support.
I'm an idiot? I think that statement stands true. A huge amount of Americans use twitter and if something trends on twitter its probably trending in reality. Bernie is in trouble for interrupting Clinton who had interrupted him first.
I'm not saying you're an idiot, I'm saying that people who are obnoxious are most likely going to draw the most attention and controversy. Saying that because something is trending that it is what everyone is thinking isn't always true. There's also two things I know: 1.) You always seem to have an axe to grind, although that doesn't necessarily influence the intent of this post. You do fall victim to the Dunning-Kruger effect on a regular basis though, by drawing attention to only the bad, obnoxious ones and not looking for the silent, reasonable majority. 2.) The news outlets are only willing to bring light to controversy and nothing reasonable. Reason is boring, after all. Everyone wants to be entertained. Saying that the news outlets provide a realistic depiction of reality is not always true either. [editline]7th March 2016[/editline] As it stands, I know a lot of women that are tired of Clinton's bullshit. And they're normal people too.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is when you don't know enough about a topic to know how much you know about a topic. It has nothing to do with selective reading.
observe big media doing everything in its power to paint bernie negatively
observe big media doing everything in its power to paint bernie negatively
yes the Big Media Men are at it again i See Any bets on this lowering the chances for Sanders becoming the President of the US?
The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which relatively unskilled persons suffer illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability to be much higher than it really is.
The way I'm explaining it is that people who feel they are the most reasonable, most right, and most qualified are generally the exact opposite, with the truly reasonable not wanting to be in such a high position be it simply being psyched out of having such a position (generally because of their intense knowledge and understanding of risks) or other feelings of inadequacy. He's playing into that by rewarding the unqualified with attention.
I see useful idiots are being useful again.
Hilary did the exact same thing to that BLM protester just recently. How can she try and claim the high horse now? Seems pretty hypocritical.
? I get your interpretation, but that's just not what it means.
Hilary did the exact same thing to that BLM protester just recently. How can she try and claim the high horse now? Seems pretty hypocritical.
Politicians aren't particularly well-known for their integrity.
Hilary did the exact same thing to that BLM protester just recently. How can she try and claim the high horse now? Seems pretty hypocritical.
Don't think anyone but some of her SJW are claiming the high horse over this. I haven't seen her make a deal out of it.
Don't think anyone but some of her SJW are claiming the high horse over this. I haven't seen her make a deal out of it.
Sexism is a hot topic nowadays, any little thing about it will be blown up by bored keyboard warriors. Twitter is garbage. It has limited characters, so anyone with an opinion always has to make some snipe comment without any other content. Why do so many news sites get such a hardon for twitter controversy? It's no different to youtube/facebook comments.
White knights compensating for their own insecurities against women. When was "excuse me, I'm talking" sexist? He was being interrupted and he got annoyed. I bet at least one of those kind of cucks votes for hillary only to go on tumblr and brag about "How they helped electing the first woman president in America". In hopes of finally losing their virginity. They wont. Girls hate irrational, desperate manlettes.
Kinda a big deal considering how large a role Twitter plays now. These twitter trends represent real world trends and what people actually think.
I don't really think that's what traditional news sections on these matters are for tho. There's always gonna be people that hold a certain opinion, and with how popular an incendiary topic gender politics and political correctness have become in the recent couple of years, it's not surprising that there's gonna be quite a few people sharing their opinion on the issue. Not that there's a objective way of measuring newsworthiness (unless you count clicks/views, which creates problems in its own), but personally I don't think this is really relative news unless it's an opinion held by an overwhelming majority of viewers or something that gives you statistical insight into the active group of voters. Like, even if this was an opinion held by a high-profile person, it wouldn't be any more news to me. This is closer to the kinda content I'd expect from gossip magazines.
People are calling him racist, now sexist? Whats next?
I don't support anyone but that's some bullshit lol
I wonder if this is just an article propped up to discredit sexist accusations elsewhere. This is very insignificant to report on.
This is actually fucking braindead retarded.
To be fair, Sanders did say that white people don't know what it's like to be poor, so he can go and fuck himself truly.
