Crocodiles are from the crocodylidae family. They can range greatly in size from the Dwarf Crocodile at 3 feet to the saltwater crocodile at up to 20. The largest Crocs can way up to 2800 pounds. They roam 4 continents and have lived for the last 200 million years. Crocodiles are ambush hunters, waiting for fish or land animals to come close, then rushing out to attack. As cold-blooded predators, they have a very slow metabolism, and thus can survive long periods without food. They have hard skin and webbed feet which they hold close to there body as they swim using a massively powerful tail. They are badass creatures and have been feared throughout history.
NILE CROCODILE:

They were worshiped and revered by the ancient Egyptians. They can grow to 18 feet and they can bite your head off in one bite. The Nile Crocodile is the second largest species under the saltwater crocodile. At several hundred a year they kill more humans the any other kind of Croc.
DWARF CROCODILE:

The worlds smallest crocodile with a maximum length of only 5 feet. It is slow, timid and mostly nocturnal. Dwarf Crocodiles eat crustaceans and scavenge mainly for there prey although they can be deadly hunters.

Saltwater Crocodiles are the largest one out there reaching 20 feet and weighing 2800 pounds at the very biggest. They eat anything smaller than themselves and can break any bone in your body with one swipe of there massive tail.
MUGGER CROCODILE:

Muggers can grow up to 16 feet and weigh 1000 pounds. They are found in lakes, rivers and marshes. Muggers prey is mostly fish and small mammals that come to drink at the waters edge. These Crocs can be found mostly in India.

The crocodile's bite force is more than 5,000 pounds per square inch.
The people of Ancient Egypt worshiped Sobek, a crocodile-god associated with fertility, protection, and the power of the Pharaoh.
Crocodile means lizard in Greek.
Many large crocodilians swallow stones (called gastroliths or stomach stones) which may act as ballast to balance their body or assist in crushing food.
The sex of a crocodile is determined on the basis of its temperature. Males are produced at around 31.6 deg C and females, at slightly lower or higher temperature.
Crocodiles are much more closely related to birds and dinosaurs than the other reptiles.
