Virgin Galactic (APPLY) - Polidicks

Virgin Galactic will be the first means of space travel available to the general public, regardless of its hefty ticket cost of 200,000$. Virgin Atlantic will take you up and out of the earths atmosphere, allowing you to experience true zero-gravity conditions. This is not only a major milestone for Richard Branson and the Virgin franchise, but also one of the most significant achievements in all of man kind. no im not selling tickets, stop asking such a senseless and stupid question. it is not a trip to the moon, it only lets you experience ZERO-G out side of the earths atmosphere. However, I'm sure that they will be shipping people off to the moon soon as well. Also, 200000$ is cheap for the people who can do it.

I got my hopes up someone on facepunch was mates with a pilot for it and got free tickets and has no friends because he is on facepunch and needed people to come.

Even in space theres no such thing as zero G because the tiny gravity that you and the space craft has will begin to take effect, a tiny effect but its there. EDIT And yeah I'm with everyone else, you're dense. Very dense.

I personally think that our goals are set too low. More focus on NASA DRM and the ESA Aurora programme for Mars, and projects for perfecting project Orion and the Bussard ramjet for interstellar exploration.

why are you withholding this info from the public? are you on some kind of referral thing where if you sell enough tickets you'll get a free flight?

It's funny because in 50 years we're are going to be like "I can't believe people spent that much money to go to space when we do it every day now..."

I hope this is cheaper when I'm 40 :P
