Wow jesus, if he was truly raped as a child then I can understand his homophobia, not from a "yeah this is what gays are like" but from a scarred child giving reason to what happened to him perspective.

It's probably far too late for him to seek therapy/assistance as a child rape victim, what with Paul Cameron turning 73 this year. It's understandable that he would blame child rape on homosexuality, given the anti-homosexual propaganda he would have encountered in his later teen/young adult years, drawing parallels to his own personal experiences. A shame that he's been misguided in the way he has, but no surprise.

He was interested in girls again when he hit 9 because he hit puberty. And he's homophobic because he was raped.
